holy fuck, 96 car pile up on the 400 today! no major injuries apparently.

 

hubby is trying to get this car stuff taken care of, since its illegal to drive with chunks missing of license plate. have to re-register. have to get emissions, have to change the oil before that. have to get plates. missing work, or will be late because of it.

 

ya the opp were tweeting all day about....first report said 48....then 96.....that's a bad stretch for whiteouts....cant tell you how many times we drove through there in mental dangerous snowy whiteout killer conditions

The weather can be great up here and great in Burlington, but the stretch between Barrie and Orillia is always a crapshoot.

 

they cut into the plate? when you posted earlier I pictured that they just peeled off the old stickers....wow what a hassle ...sorry that happened MLove<<<<<or molo>>>>>>

 

we just a get a tiny sticker we stick over top of last years sticker..goes on the corner of the plate....people sometimes peel them off but unless you get one that's fresh they are hard to peel intact

its a sticker, and yes, they cut into the plate. probably a good 2-3 inches square missing. cut off the bottom of the last letter too. and they werent even new tags. its the second time this has happened to us, last time was 9 years ago.

i hate people. people are dicks.

 

would cops or bylaw dudes do that?....they have scanners here on most cop cars now...they drive through a mall parking lot and they can check thousands of tags in just seconds....I could see them cutting expired tags

or would a freakshow concerned citizen do it....im pissed now...that sucks

I would imagine they (cops) would not cut expired tags as how many people always check their plates. They would ticket the car first. If it were mine who knows how long before I actually noticed it was done.

ML that really sucks, not only the expense but the inconvenience.

 

Cut the corner off, take it home and put it on dry ice and the sticker peels right off... still sticky when it warms too.


Now, with the cost of dry ice being not much cheaper than registration it's somebody with an illegal car.

 

it has no use to whoever cut it off..it was just useless vandalism

that tag expires in may, i think. the year one needs replaced, but its from last year, so they left it. the month tag is still good, just not for long.

we had the tires rotated on monday. they wiped off the sticker. clean and shiny, suddenly looks new and noticeable. now its gone.

 

bought an expensive pork roast from a place called pig and olive.....wrapped in bacon and stuffed ful of garlic and cheese.....holy

turned out perfect
