i have a subscription to playboy, and actually its one of the things i read as a kid that taught me how to read. i would sneak them out of a box at the end of the couch. ive always felt that playboy keeps it sexy and classy. i appreciate that.

really busy day, im worn right out.

 

I was moving stuff for my brother in law as i moved stuff into his house i noticed he had a stack. One was from 71. I went through that whole magazine. Funny seing ads for hifi record players and 8track music clubs

Thats the thing that confuses me about jews. They have so many traditions that involve torturing themselves.

finally got windows 8.1 to install, used a different pirated ISO this time, oh man .. now on to the rest. Slackware14.1 and Linux Mint 17 to go .. hope i have no more crazy issues

No Glen, this is Not the same after "the migration to the new server"...not at all.

Just to figure out how to post this was a challenge. One stroke in the wrong place, and everything you typed to post is gone.

What is called User CP is NOT what the User CP was...which was a part I used frequently. This View New Content thing just gives what is being said all over the forum, NOT the threads I have subscribed to. I could go on and on but will let this suffice.

I'm just thrilled to death that everybody (but me) seems to be adjusting fine. I must admit SHOCK when a friend of mine said he even liked it better. If I could find the puke emoticon, I'd throw it in there.

The only way I was even able to get on here was to go through Mozilla Firefox.

Is there even an active threads page anywhere...aside from the "new and improved" View New Content function?

I will repeat myself and compare this to the "new and improved" people that were "fixed" in Stephen King's novel Tommyknockers.

 

when you edit a post it won't let you save changes unless you "Use Full Editor" button, and then "Submit Modified Post" will let it save .. maybe i should post this somewhere else where skip will see it

Another question: After I customized (or whatever you call it) the View New Content thing to show what "items I participated in", it is not showing this thread at all. Why is that?

I know that assuming is dangerous - but I figured "items" actually means threads...but again, there were 2 other "items" showing, but not this one.

I also realize that with my questions, I may well be just blowing in the wind. God knows that to get back here to THIS thread I have to go through the forums and then scroll down just to FIND this particular thread, then click and hope it will take me to the last page. About half the time it takes me to the first page (over and over) and the other half it takes me to the last page.

 

Lynn. Make the setting like you want for the "View New Content" and then leave the forum. Come back in a little while and it should show the threads you have participated in.

 

lynn....also.....I bookmark the stoners lounge so it is always in my address bar as a ''favorite''

there should be a ''star'' on the left side of the heaer where your address bar is....when you find the stoners lounge forum....click that star and the lounge will forever be a click away....you can do the same with random thoughts........and of course you can do the same in the sex forums...

also....seems like the ''preview'' shows the first and the most recent post as a preview to the thread so the first post will now be more important.........a noobular warning should be right there in post 1 of every thread lol.....a picture of some kind of smokeables or edibles or what have you in post 1 too

had a feeling lynn and some others might get lost in the shuffle. there are a few people you can tell get set in the way they do things and thats the only way they do it.
i just hope the site dosnt change again by the time you all get used to your new habits.

 

The first day we were up every thread was taking me to the first page. I posted something in all of the threads I generally go to. Once you post in a thread since the change over (whatever day it was) you can use the small dot to the left of the topic to go to the place where you last read the thread and continue reading new posts that were added since you were last reading that thread.
