    About CO2 Extraction:

CO2 extraction or Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE) is known for being the most effective way to extract beneficial essences from plant matter. [1] This method is not only used for cannabis concentrates, but is also used to create pure essential oils and to strip out or separate different elements of botanicals. Popular products manufactured using this method are: herbal essential oils, hops for beer, high value pharmaceutical precursors and decaffeinated coffee. [2]

10 grams of oil from an ounce? I would say more like one or two. What kind of tricks are you doing to get that much?

I forgot my tube fits 2 ounces and not one....2 ounces of homegrown average weed gets 7 grams minimum without trying

2 ounces of 20% thc like blue dream will get close to double that

I pull 1 gram from an ounce of trim[sugar leaf]

Do any Canadians here know of Charlie Angus? He's an NDP MP for the Timmins/James Bay area. He is giving a talk at my school on Friday and I'm taking part in a discussion of a new book about Canadian Aboriginal history that he is leading earlier in the day. I'm pretty excited about it, should be very interesting.

    He also sings:

That should be really interesting. I know he was noted in Maclean's and he also took a stand against his own church regarding same sex marriage. Seems to be well rounded but an activist.

I didn't know that, I'll have to look it up now.

I'm pretty excited for the discussion. It is actually a discussion with the history graduate students, but my history professor is trying to get me to switch my major to history so she's inviting me in the hopes that I find it extremely interesting, lol.

Sounds like she feels you could do well with History. :)

It really does sound like it could be really interesting as he is well known but seems to be a down home kind of guy. Does get involved as an activist but it not some wing nut running around. Respected seems to be a good description.

I really enjoy studying history and would love to do more of it, but I don't think that there is much I could do with a BA in history if I don't want to stay in academia (which I do not, lol).

Yeah Egg not much to do but be a teacher or work in a museum with a history degree as far as jobs that require a specific degree. But allot of jobs just care that you have a degree. That fact alone is the proof your not a loser and can be a good employee. Allot people end up working in a field with nothing to do with what they studied.

Yeah, very true. I may end up switching to a double major, so that I can get the best of both worlds lol.

Not that a degree in Social Welfare and Social Development is going to get me much further than a history degree, salary wise, haha.
