get another little car or truck and make sure its engine running good with a manual transmission.

If i'm going to get another cheap car i'd rather it be a truck. Any cheap trucks good on gas though?

Get your ass to school and learn to build a car.
The tuition won't be free, but once you sell a couple of cars you'll have made back your money on the investment.

 

what frustrates me most is that i feel like it can be fixed, and no one is trying to fix it. im not saying that it isnt a complicated problem, but theres lots of things we can do. but people think the problem is too big- outside of themselves. you have to start with yourself. you have to reach out and be helpful and kind. you have to tell people you are making that effort, so that they will think of doing it too. if we are all brothers and sisters, do we want to see our family suffer? we should pull people up. theres no reason we cant, but people have to want to of their own accord. not enforced/ government sharing, but people wanting to help other people, to be in a good enough place in their own lives that they can reach out and contribute to the greater good- by their own choice. we always come together in a tragedy, we should be together all the time.

I remember my parents taking me to the lake when I was younger, and I'd always see "Don't feed the ducks" signs everywhere, and I thought it was so messed up that people weren't aloud to feed the ducks...

Pretty soon you'll be seeing "Don't feed the starving" signs posted everywhere instead...

They teach us to share, then make it illegal lol

 

They don't let you feed the ducks because they're lazy and will become too used to getting food from human folk. They do the same here with geese and swans.

 

I guess its the same with the homeless lol

do you guys generally buy a new (used) vehicle through financing or just paying all upfront? Never even thought of financing... I just don't like contracts and interest and whatnot..

 

There's not too many people I know that would have money to buy a car =p

 

Out where I live, the homeless are being fed and clothed; sometimes they are even put up in motel rooms!

I guess it's because the organization I'm thinking of is a church. They've got several locations where they hold outdoor services (in parking lots near freeway exits), after which they serve a meal and give away shoes and clothes.

 

This place is absolutely awesome. There are beautiful trees and the grounds were covered with daffodils and forsythia. It snowed for a couple minutes when we got out of the car and a hawk flew overhead. It will need a little work but it fits Tyrsonswood to a T. Send positive thoughts that TY gets this place. After all he has been through since December he deserves this place. It is a little piece of heaven. :2thumbsup:
