    Thanks Aeri! :)

I need to start visualizing (more) for the job I want.

BUT I also need to be careful, and not think about Mickey D's a-holes when I start with my thinking and visualizing. ;)

So many places (here) are worried to freakin death if you have thc in your system or if you have EVER had even a simple possession over 15 yrs ago, it is unreal.

There are so many parameters I have to work around...(I think that's the word I'm looking for...too lazy right now to make sure. :D )

Without thc in my system, I honestly don't think my old broken bones would be able to move as easily as they do now.

    Something will work out.

Was this back when I hear houses were 5,000$ and you could catch a bus to town, buy all the candy, see a movie and catch the bus home for 20cents? :D

I don't know it's possible anymore for a twenty year old to just hand over a cheque for a place. Talking hundreds of thousands just for something simple nowadays.

My mortgage now gets paid from rental money's I get from my other properties. I could have sold one or two to buy this outright, but I needed them for my empire. ;)

I actually asked my sister if she'd like one of them is sell for a lot less etc. but she has her heart on something different. New.

I'm probably going to get a lot of pine calls from my oldies soon. :D

    No, this wasn't back then...

My present house I bought two years ago ($100,000.00 check) and the one before that was bought in 2004 at half that price. I'm not rich but I'm not in my twenties either looking for my first home... IMHO 20 something isn't the smartest age to buy a house anyways. I didn't buy a home until I was in my 40's. Had a mortgage on that but sold it for 3 times what I owed on it. That was the "Cabin in the Woods", pictures in my profile.

I'm just saying mortgages are a rip off. Most people never really do get to own that home, they just pay "rent" to a bank and have to also pay for all the repairs and upgrades.

Yeah I hear ya. The place I live in now cost me 485,000€ and I got it fairly cheap too. I never expected to get it for the price we offered. But we had that instant finance already so the owners thought okay, she can pay right now. So we did. :D

But though you don't technically own your house until you pay the moetgage, it does give you a good credit rating and also something to fall back on. So it's still a good investment to have.

I really got lucky with my investments. I had two townhouses that were in a conplex, bought out and paid for so that land good be developed. So I had two properties paid off for me and then I was looking at a small fortune. So I bought another couple of places with that money. My partner did the same. She helped me with all this and set me up from her own investments and what was left to her when he parents died.

So I lucked out. I admit that. I still have a couple of properties in townhouses and I hope one day they'll be bulldozed down too and paid out to me. -shrug-

At the moment they're good because my rental payments I get from them pay my mortgage here now, my bills and my income are all from property rental.

That drawer thing sounds like crap to me Lynn. The guy is probably counting on the fact you won't do anything. Take a little off the top from everyone every now and then and end up with a lot. He has it figured out.

    I agree completely!

The other cashier girls have said to me (more than once) that Mario is using that (my) money to pay off his dealer.

Everybody around here knows how next-to-impossible it is getting another job, especially for an older woman. So yes, I feel certain that is what he (and the gm) are counting on..not me nor anybody saying or doing anything.

However, I may just be so overcome with this that if there is an amount I have to pay this coming Monday, I will be unable to stop myself from sending/faxing everything to the DOL lady Tuesday.

Then Wednesday I know I better start in earnest looking for another job. ;)

Also, I have said things to the GM...but it is the same as pissing in the wind.

The ONLY people that are able to actually talk to the GM/that he is interested in listening to for more than 1 sentence are the young black girls.

I wish they would let us count down our own drawers...that isn't allowed.

He has PLENTY of opportunity to pocket any amount of money he wants.

and Aeri, I think Mario may consider himself a pharmacist "of sorts". ;)

I really just wish they would just do right...and it seems they are determined not to.

I'm going to go early to work tomorrow and TRY (yes, try being the operative word) to get the youngish jackass GM to listen to me re all of this. Since I'm to the point I'm talking about this here, I figure it won't be much longer before I start doing my best to take up for myself which will (most probaby) cause them all sorts of trouble.

Well, I sincerely hope it will cause them all sorts of trouble...especially since I was hired for the LOBBY. sheesh

There are a few people that do that kind of thing at McD's...they ALWAYS think they are so very very funny.

They are the only ones that think that.

I cannot stop my traitorous mind from hoping they either: fall down and/or choke on their words or food - but not choke to death or break their necks in the fall. :)

I remember once we were in drive thru and the we paid and then we waited. I had about 3-4 people in car with me. We wait and wait.

    We get our order.

The lady says "here it is and sorry for the weight"

My friend leans over and says "don't worry you'll lose it"

She pondered this, thought about it, then got it.

That window slammed shut fucking fast. We drove out in hysterics. I don't even know if she was big or not. :D

    Funny line though.

I was with a friend one time and he got into it with the person on the speakerbox in the drivethrough. We pull up to the window and it was a girl he waits at the bus stop with.
