    No garden work today...

Going out to see my Father for his birthday... He's 92.

I don't want to be 92... Not with the way I hurt now I don't.

dog dug 2 baby bunnies out of a burrow. she looked quite pleased with herself, but now shes in quarantine so i can make sure she doesnt yark up any of the unaccounted for pieces. taught the boy how to identify some parts on the first bunny, since that one had innards exposed. they were pretty small bunnies. furred out, but smaller than i usually see. must have dodged into the hole and she went digging after them. i dont know if there are any more around, but there probably wont be for long if there are.

    i hate people like this

some guy has a trailer frame for sale so i ask for "exact measurements of frame inside and outside width"...i need it to be exact because i plan to use it as an upper tilting deck on an existing frame

and his reply is "its almost 6 feet"

ffs some people are stupid...might have just cost him a sale because now im pissed off..when i ask for exact i want exact not some redneck guess

    :D

Another Good one is when someone is selling something and so you ask "how much". And their reply is "oh, not sure, how much are you thinking?" So they give you no indication. So you tell them "20€?" And they say no I want more than that.

So... State a price you stupid bastard!

i would give you exact measurements in imperial and metric. and at the prospect at making said sale i would convey any and all other information about the item.
its one of those things that is literally (and i mean that) driving me crazy. crazier than i already am. one day i will be confronted with too much stupid and i will explode.

those are people afflicted with terminal cases of stupid. i think the more irritating to me is the willful stupidity. the choosing to be ignorant. these are the people that drive me nuts. some people are stupid, they probably didnt ask for that. but some people could be fine, could be "cured" and choose not to.

Eep. Well I just signed off on my little sisters home loan as guarantee person if she fails Payment they take my money instead.

    A little worrisome. Maybe? :D

I'm sure she'll be fine. I said if it wasn't a house. If it was something stupid then is never do it. But a house, that's a good investment. :)

Well my parents weren't into the idea at all hehe. But I'm good, having investments in property myself I got her to write it all down for me. What she earns, what she's paying blah blah. I'll probably try and help her out a little more as she goes along. :) but now she can safely go to house openings once approved and then she can just lay down a price instead of those annoying people waiting on finance holding the contract up. :D

This is good for her. :)

I hate mortgages... Last two houses I bought outright. Write a check and it's mine. With a mortgage it's the bank's property until you pay 4 times what you "bought it for"....

    Crazy shyt, that.

I paid my mortgage off when my mother died. Best move ever. If that hadn't happened, we'd have been in the streets by now.

i made sure our mortgage didnt have a pre-payment penalty. i wish we could have bought outright, but hopefully we can make awesome progress and save enough for the next one. even if its just the land itself, i can putter around building a tiny home to move to a property while i still live here. ultimately id like to get this place fixed up and able to be rented out to a like- minded family.

working on dishes. cleaning the kitchen. moved some furniture and vacuumed (very carefully) ive had 2 glasses of water. im sick of it already. thought that the littlest puppy had escaped, she didnt come in from the yard when i called them all in. we need names for the two puppies so bad. i have so much crap to do, but hey, progress, right?
i need a carpet washer too. puppies are not trained yet, and with two its not going to be easy anyway. so i just need to get the equipment i need to have. used to have one, got borrowed and destroyed. we should have a bit of money coming to us soon though. hubby is doing okay at his new job, so thats pretty cool.

This morning after I got in the shower and began getting ready, I began thinking about the thieving ass manager that always says (once a week on average) my drawer is short. Even though Thursday is one of the 2 days I work from 11:30 until 8, I dread it like hell, knowing that Mario will be counting my drawer after I leave.

This past Monday I had to give them $36.71 to get my check. To say this infuriates me doesn't begin to cover how deeply disturbed it makes me. In the past 1 1/2 months, there have only been 2 checks where asshole Mario hasn't acted like my drawer was short. He has been there about 6 or 7 months and prior to him being transferred to my store, I had to pay maybe $6 and change (or less) maybe twice.

So, I called in and told the GM (who can't listen to more than 1 sentence when I've TRIED to state very valid reasons why I KNOW my damn drawer isn't short) that I had diarrhea and couldn't come in. He says "What's happening, Miss Lynn?!?" I almost laughed but instead I said I told you what's happening, and I can't come in.

Where I work is just 4 miles away and my schedule is actually perfect. But having to go through this every single damn week is making me just plain ill and rude. So, I went and put in an application at a place that is 15 miles away...not that I'll even get a job there...it was just a place to start looking.

I am far from the only person that this is happening to...but the rest are young and either just quit rather than having to go through this shit OR they "talk" to the gm and suddenly they don't have to run the register. It's taking all I have not to wish something BAD happen to these jackasses. [IMG]

So, in order to save my damn pleasant personality (lol), I'm going to have to make myself start looking for another job.

Oh, and Tuesday I contacted DOL, Wage and Hour Division about this...but explained in an email (address given to me by the nice lady I talked to over the phone) that since an employer can fire you for NO reason in SC, I am certain they would fire me for contacting them. Therefore, I decided not to pursue this complaint at this time. However, when I was not scared of losing this job, I would most probably contact them in the future about this.

I received a short but Very Nice email back from her saying she truly (yes she used the word truly) understood how hard it was to find a job and not wanting to lose one. If I had any questions and/or concerns in the future to feel free to contact her and for me to have a good day.

At least these assholes are on their radar now.
