its raining here. miserable looking all day, but we need the moisture. i feel like i might go out and pull weeds in it anyway, im in such a shitty mood it wouldnt make anything worse.

 

Mowed some tricky shyt that I never have before... Mower climbs 45 degrees with blades running, no problems, that's through stuff that's likely never been cut before. I like this mower. This place would kill a Zero-Turn $4000.00+ "mower" in half a season... But this MTD chews it up and asks for more... besides, it's a tractor so it can haul a wagon load if I need it to. Also mowed the front yard, up to those mass-planted daffodils and then up at the entryway to the driveway on one side.


Part of the recent rebuild was shitcanning the reverse kill switch which shut off the engine if you tried to backup while mowing... What the fuck is up with that? I had a newer Sears out in California that was basically the same mower and that didn't have this "safety" feature. Can't figure out why this one did... "Oh you might run over your kid and the puppy by backing up while mowing..." Ummm, first of all, can't you look where you're backing? Second, what the fuck are the kid and the puppy doing anywhere near where you are mowing!


Now I can maneuver properly without having to lift the deck... Finally!


I do need to fix the "Get out of the seat while mowing and the mower shuts off" switch though... That's a good safety device. Something to do with the new seat doesn't allow it to work right.

as soon as the yard dries out we need to mow the back again. the front needs to be weedwhacked, or have everything pulled out, which i like better.

i made waffles for dinner. because tired, and pregnant, thats why.

it was going on since 6pm and around 12am we heard the flash granades .. It was to cold for me to hang out and take low quailty pictures, nothing to really see..

by the time i drove back it had obviously been runover and a guy with a contractors trailer was stopped there trying to pick it up...it was probably him that dropped it

well it happened. the trench collapsed on the construction workers like I said it would..

possibly with a broken leg, but is expected to be OK..

 

HolyCrap.... I don't believe how bad a condition those side supports are. No wonder it collapsed.
