I used to love tuna.. then I started eating it while picking oranges. Usually 2x a day, if not more. Breakfast and Lunch, tuna on bread with mayonnaise. I kept that up for about 1.5 months.

Then that progressed to eventually camping and eating tuna for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I don't think I've eaten Tuna since. I was at Subway the other day and the sub of the day was tuna, nope.

The king of disgusting and cheap backpacker foods was one guy I saw who took baked beans and mixed it out with a can of tuna, all of which he heated in the microwave.

yea tuna is a tricky thing... years ago friend was over and was hungry... 'hey man can I have some tuna fish... yea sure..

he opened the can, and basically just put it on bread and ate it, I was disgusted.

Look man you gotta drain the can, then put it in a bowl and mash it up real fine and add the stuff you want, then on bread..

you don't open can and just put it on bread lol. You will never get another girlfriend again doing that..

Well shit, I would never serve a girl tuna on bread, haha. And probably no tuna at all, at least not for a few years.

It would certainly taste better with some condiments, but at this point I've ruined the flavour for myself, haha.
In my defense I was back-packing at the time and running on a low budget, so I ate what was cheapest.

i save the "broth" packets from ramen to throw in our camping gear. i figure in an emergency, we dont REALLY care about the msg. im sure it would make rabbit taste fine and dandy to a hungry crew.

i like tuna, but i have to be in the mood. tuna casserole with the chunk light... and sammiches with the solid white albacore. as a kid that was "dad's tuna" so we never got to eat it on sandwiches. he always likes his really dry too though, very little mayo. i like mine with more.

you could change it up, do like a canned salmon for croquettes. those can be damn tasty.

i cant believe my calf still hurts. ive stretched all sorts of ways. eaten potatoes. been drinking tons of water (which doesnt help the pregnant needing to pee all the damn time issues) hot pack, cold pack, elevation and its still just fucking terrible. i want to take ibuprofen, but im only allowed tylenol, and that doesnt work well on me, it never has. doc on monday. and i have to call my endocrinologist and see if i need to adjust my meds. hypothyroid can increase leg cramps, and i have been less hungry and gaining weight faster in the last couple of weeks. meds might be tipping me over the balance mark. it would be good news to reduce the dose a bit, but fucking ow man. i hope that doc gets back to me right away, blood work should certainly be in, its been almost a full 2 weeks. the labcorp lady stuck me hard, i kept bleeding (normally that stops pretty quick) and bruised really bad, its only just faded enough to not be noticeable. i dont have a preferred arm, but i HAVE to remember to request the smaller (butterfly) needle next time.

i made a barbecue tuna sandwhich once, thought it would be similar to a barbecue pork, chicken, or beef sandwhich. it wasnt that good, not that bad though and definitely edible if ur hungry.
