I did a 360 on a dirt bike once... once. Long before the MX guys were doing it on purpose. Of course that wasn't my intent and the landing was not nice. Basically it was a crash and burn into gravel/slag. (orison should know about the slag dumps in PA)





I probably still have gravel in my arms and legs from that.

 

slag the worst material to crash in. I can imagine smelling it while digging it out of knee caps and elbows. uke:

 

ive been up for an hour and a half. after so little sleep, and the shitty morning, i am in tears and wish i were dead rather than dealing with all the crap i have to. and we are supposed to be having a good day and going to the baseball game.

just kill me, id be so much happier dead.

 

Mine were killing me yesterday, I think it is the changing weather here.

I've got way too much writing to do today as a result, since I couldn't manage anything yesterday. I've tried working with the voice-to-text software I have, and while it is pretty good at getting what I say down fairly accurately, I just can't bring myself to use it. I don't talk the way I write, so everything seems to some out a little too informal, it is kind of weird.

Have to finish this paper for tomorrow.. I'll be glad to have it done. And then I'm presenting it at a conference in June, so that should be exciting/kind of scary.

 

Really cant use those voice to text things either.

 

Ive been told by more than a few riders. When you decided to get the bike, don't tell anyone that doesn't ride, only tell those that already do.

I know 3 people who have been killed on motorcycles, more in car crashes, 1 on bicycle was hit by car, snowmobile accidents.

Its life, you take risks. Mean if ya scared, mofucker go to church.

Anyways, thanks for your concern. Ive already gone down a few times on bikes before. Years ago, and it was a good learning experience.


First time I ever rode a bike I was 13. The guys in the family took a fishing trip up into western canada. We were out in the middle of no where. 40 miles to the nearest small town. Amazing land, could get lost in all the various roads, beautiful country.

So my uncle brought his Honda 90 for anyone to ride but it was only me and my cuz. In those 7 days up there we wrecked a total of 5 times.. ha..

First crash I was in 3rd doing i think 40 mph, was coming around a long corner and went to shift into 4th as I was coming out of the corner (mistake) (then in within 2 seconds) it wouldn't shift, tried again and i took off into the woods. Lucky i didn't hit a fucking tree. Was wearing a helmet in sweat shirt and jeans. Few bruises, rest of trip we learned that 3rd to 4th on that was sticky..

Looking back that first accident would be hilarious to see, but I'm lucky i didn't get more hurt. I'm also lucky i could get it out of the woods and back on the road. I crashed again few days later, but nothing like before.

After that trip my uncle took the Honda 90 back home and got ride of it as we fucking trashed it. I didn't get to ride for a few years after that. Then every now and then i could jump on friend 250. Also my father has a very nice 450, crazy power.

Went down on the 250 twice learning, and haven't since then.

I have told no non-rider offline about getting the bike. My mother already has a good idea, I've gave hints for a few years, but the timing has not been right tell now.

 

Nah, I'm not saying don't do it, do whatever makes you happy, just watch out.

I'm just saying that you can have a lot of fun in a car, you can go pretty damn fast in a car, and when shit hits the fan there's a lot less shit. (and, you can smoke weed in comfort in a car). Personally, if I had that much money to spend on a little fast vehicle, it'd be a v8 swapped small car, like a miata or rx7. Your price is into the area where you could find a completed running driving one.

I'm not expecting to change your mind, or anything.

 

One of many reasons for the bike is a piece of clarity. Mind sound dumb...

Cars are fucking expensive.

Plus I don't care about not being able to smoke weed. Or listening to music, or sitting back just chilling. I don't even drive the 4runner stoned, i have not smoked in my rig in several months. I get paranoid now... I only smoke at home and its 90% of the time at night...

Ive actually been cutting back a lot of weed. My lungs say thank you...

I'm not concerned about going down.

Once i get the bike, ill be getting a dirt bike.

I love being on two wheels.

I spent a couple hundred last summer replacing almost everything but the frame on my mountain bike. New gears, brakes, tires, everything but suspension and frame.

If i could i would like to get a fast car. That won't happen tell i have my own personal garage where i can work on it.

Kawasaki 250 i think is the best bike for anyone that has never rode before. Excellent handling and you can't put it on one wheel if you give it to much throttle when you shift... for the most part..

Todays bikes are pretty crazy. The 2014 kawasaki 250 is being replaced with the 300, 250 still in production. The damn 300's can get to 60mph in 4 seconds and top out at 120-130. Thats just a 300....

Jumping to a 650 is crazy now. The amount of power no days... its fucking wild what they can do behind a good rider.

Anyone got any good home remedies for a pinched nerve in the neck?

My god this is a bad one. I can barely turn my head to the right. I can't get to it while massaging, I've tried hot baths and heat and some ice. Basically on pills now. =[

 

ugh 23 pages into this essay and I still have 5 or 6 more to write tonight.

eventually I'll learn not to procrastinate.

 

ive got something going on with my neck too,, but i see that it gets worse when I smoke the tobacoo, probably not your problem. however Ive found that a good orgasm with arms extended over head give a back a good alignment ..

 

tiger balm works for my neck usually (but i usually get muscle pain there not nerve)

A friend can score me an eighth of weed early May in exchange for an equivalent amount of Synthacaine,which I gave him some a couple of weeks ago and he loved it.Trouble is weed kind of fucks with my head but I haven't smoked for a while but kind of want some.I would like to roll a weak joint and go to the really nice park and get with it.But weed is like dancing with the devil with me.I can never no if I will have a good experience or not.But my mental state has been improving and I think if I just roll weak joints and tweak occasionally I should be okay.What do you think.I like the weed comedown and the good sleep that follows.Frak it I gotta do this deal I think...
