OMG! What a stupid ass thing to say! A very legitimate question was posed to you since you indicated VERY questionable knowledge (and I still don't believe what you said was any more than pure bs off the top of your head) and you give this flippant answer - which by the way - does NOT WORK!!!

If a person wants to know how many times google or whatever (polar bears adapting to climate change) is referred to HERE AT HIP FORUMS then and ONLY THEN should they go to that damn little box up where you're talking about and press the enter button.

If you want to know real answers to something, you best click the X in the corner and leave here. Then go to google or where ever you go to research something. AFTER looking up the facts, it would be nice to come back and tell us here. :)

I'm eating firecrackers and this damn smarty pants answer has pissed me off. [IMG]

Well, to this person (me), you did NOT sound angry (like me). And after the totally ignoramous answer you got, I personally think you would have been well within your rights to be an angry smart-ass. :)

Unan, you are one of the nicest people here, and I can say I have honestly never seen you even once be less than a total gentleman, even if you are talked down to by a smartass. :)

Jack used to bite himself when he was nervous. I think its like some people bite their fingernails. :) You being gone all day now is an adjustment she's having to get used to, so it does make sense she would do that. Jack started biting himself really bad for a time after the cats, his friends, had begun to die and then especially after he was down to just Brownine. He got ok after a while.

I would also say to put some vitamin E on her scaly skin. Vitamin E, A &D are super good for her skin as well as our's.

I'm not sure about A & D, but I know that Vit E doesn't taste bad and doesn't hurt the animals when they lick it.

Funny, Ivory soap makes my skin not feel right; but I know lots of people swear by it.

I think I read someone say polar bear aren't swimmers

that is blatantly false...they are often spotted hundreds of kilometers from shore

Orison... A&D ointment.. like Mommies use for diaper rash... is an awesome ointment for all sorts of skin problems. It goes on thick and she won't be able to lick it off easily. You'll want to keep her off the furniture until it soaks in, though. It'll stop the itch almost immediately.

Hey everyone, long time no chat!

Just wanted to stop by to see how everyone is doing, and to let you all know that I am now a father :)

She was born early in the morning on September 30th, and is absolutely perfect. We are still trying to wrap our heads around this parenting thing, but I think that we're doing a pretty good job so far.

What's new in the stoners lounge?

On that topic, I am planning on finding a doctor to approve me for medical marijuana soon, as I am having a really tough time caring for a baby with my arthritis, and I would much rather be legal now that I have a baby in the house.

What's the deal with the big bows nowadays. My great niece has pictures all over Facebook and you can tell who took the pic by if she has a big ass bow on her head. If she does then my niece took it. If she doesn't then my sister took it.
Is that a new thing like selfies and twerking that all the young whippersnappers today are doing?

Eggon! Congratz on your baby girl! How wonderful. You are now entering the land of no sleep. It's sooo very worth it, though.

I wish I had access to medical herbage for arthritis, too. I know lifting weights helps it some and getting off red meat does, as well, but I rarely take my own advice on that. It's a bitch in the cold months.

my RA always gets worse when I don't get enough sleep, hence the flare ups since the baby arrived.

also, whoever designed those tiny metal snaps on every piece of baby clothing can go to hell. they kill my fingers every time!
