I can, and will, say that I have never watched either of them.

 

I've had to appear for duty more than that, and only 1 time ONLY when they HAD to take the "left over" (turned down) people to "hear" cases where the defendant was absent was I used. lol I always thought "good enough" when one side or the other would turn me down.

I've also never watched even a total of 30 minutes of: Survivor, American Idol, The Voice etc etc etc. A few times I've accidently wound up watching or listening to a few minutes of these shows but when talking and voting start, I'm gone.

Give me Andy Griffith, Bernie Mac and Touched by an Angel.

Law & Order will also work.

 

I watched American Idol through the first couple of seasons. The first time I felt that something other than the most obvious talent was going into who was chosen as the idol, I was finished with that crap. I don't set myself up to purposely be disgruntled and feel like cheating is going on around me.

 

Both the Biggest Loser and Top Chef got my attention for about 10 to 15 minutes. Watching both of those shows literally made me so angry I had to go outside and walk around. The "regular" people that had gotten to the level that they were even there was such an achievement, it was unreal to me this was never addressed whatsoever. The screaming and belittling the contestants had to endure was unreal to me. good grief

As usually passive as I am, I wouldn't have lasted past the try-outs. I will take up for myself.

I'd find my mouth telling "Chef" and "screaming trainer lady" to go get fucked. seriously. lol

 

I like seeing all the great places TB shows are at, sometimes, and am not always looking at or listening to the people on that show.

I am attending a birthday party for my friend today who is turning 60. Should be fun and as always great food.

 

Going to suggest in ocean city today to see the gin blossoms. Looking like rain. It's ok for the concert under a tent but the rest of the festival will suck.

I'm cooking sausage, mushrooms, potatoes, onions, garlic, carrots and red peppers. Will use some kind of sauce i don't know what kind yet. Put it all together and i have 5 meals worth. Outside.. Outside.. crisp lovely weather. I'm thinking that fishing sounds like a great plan for this afternoon. Need to stock up the catfish pond before winter anyway. Yeah... like I need a valid reason to take the day off and go fishing.

I have not gone fishing in I think 2 years? bummer... i love fly fishing. i have a pole and sinking line as well as float... love fly fishing... not a fan of spinning at all... i want to go fishing now..

you have to have license for fucking everything so I just go to a special spot(s) i know to avoid forest service..

i would love to cook some fresh trout or steelhead
