im interested in raising some guinea pigs for meat. i have access to a couple of free ones, but they are fixed, and that doesnt help me.

there was a 3.7 earthquake north east of me. i didnt feel it, but i wouldnt be surprised if there is a bigger one coming. theres pretty much one reason for earthquakes here in colorado, and it involves what we take out of the earth, and what we put back into it. sure, there are some quarry blasts, and some land/rockslides, butits things like drilling and fracking, and disposing that up our risks.

    Deep injection well[edit]
RMA contained a deep injection well that was constructed in 1961.[4] It was drilled to a depth of 12,045 feet (3671 m). The well was cased and sealed to a depth of 11,975 feet (3650 m), with the remaining 70 feet (21 m) left as an open hole for the injection of Basin F liquids. For testing purposes, the well was injected with approximately 568,000 US gallons (2150 m³) of city water prior to injecting any waste. The injected fluids had very little potential for reaching the surface or usable groundwater supply since the injection point had 11,900 feet (3630 m) of rock above it and was sealed at the opening. The Army discontinued use of the well in February 1966 because the fluid injection triggered a series of earthquakes in the area.[4][5] The well remained unused until 1985 when the Army permanently sealed the disposal well.

so i will have to keep that in mind as i clean, and maybe hang something like chimes, so that if the earth moves i will be more likely to take notice. ive never felt an earthquake before.

I don't think I could eat a guinea pig sandwich...well, if I had gone a WHILE without food, was hungry, etc, I could probably eat anything but humans. :)

It actually surprises me that people think MH is a male. Even from the beginning of when I was around your posts, MH, I never thought you were male.

The terms dude and guyz are definitely genderless.

    YAY! :2thumbsup:

It is sooo easy to say "things will work out", and I truly hate to hear that...but its really (usually) true. :)

There are just too many good vibes around you and being sent to you, MoLo, for things not to work out, and nicely at that!

We once had a friend that used to laugh that my husband would call me dude. 'Who calls thier wife 'dude' "

I got me some 3m dust masks for doing sanding.
I wish they didn't humidify face into a prune or I would wear these suckers all the time.
Maybe its psychosomatic but the filtered air seems so nice.

The mask also looks badass with my goggles. I may have to dye one for a costume.

Thanks for the morning chicken tour and a chance to see Captain in action.

When I moved here in 1990 my oldest cat was 15 and the two younger ones were 12. They adjusted really well to being indoor only cats. Perhaps cats who become neurotic do so for some other reason.
