theres a pack of ferral cats that like to hang out in the backyard alley that need a good home

they chase the rats...wanna pet rat? rats make good pets actually, just don't let them close to any cables or wires cuz they'll chew thru them

 

None of my cats ever left the house... (I only have one now since the fire... I had 7 before then and many, many previously) They don't need "outside" and are perfectly well adjusted as indoor only animals. I could actually imagine they are more well adjusted without the transition from indoor to outdoor all the time because it's like flipping a mental switch every time. If you are worried about them not getting grasses, feed an indoor blend cat food and grow some oatgrass for them... If you have seen some neurotic cats, it was the cat or the owner that was the cause, not the indoor only thing. I do know a thing or two about cats... Just sayin'


By your theory I should also let Erin outdoors because she is a prisoner being indoors all the time... Where she would get beat and or killed by the local crows because she's an intruder on their turf, she has no outdoor savvy or experience and no immunity to their health problems. Not gonna happen.


Not trying to be mean here, it's just a fallacy about cats needing outdoor time that most people seem to think is true. It's just not the case. Granted, now that they have been allowed out it's a hard habit to break and it will seem that they "need" it.

why dosnt the glass of the greenhouse soak up all the nutrients or whatever it is from the sun?

 

had to watch to find what pot was in there...just a maintenance pot...carry food and scraps out to the hens..

yes bbad...I love the mornings...i'm awake by 5am every day now that its nice out////

TY, I did not mean to insinuate that all house cats are neurotic....as they are not....My cats would become that way, however, as they have been allowed access to the outdoors ever since they were about 8 months old, each.....I have lost a cat here already to I don't know what, after he went outside....so I do fear that, too, all of the time....of course.....
I chose this place to move to for my animals....as there are no roads near or cars or traffic for starters.....I, at least, eliminated that problem from the previous house I was living in.....

Well, BBAD, I guess you can never visit me....I have 5 cats.... I would not trust you near them..... lol
