    animal cruelty by cat

    domesticated wild kingdom

Oh those darn kitties are killers

My cats only kill cockroaches, I don't feel too remorseful over it.

Seriously, BBAD, what would you suggest? I keep them all prisoners in this house 24 hours a day? As it is they only get a few hours really in the daylight to be out to eat grasses that are healthy for them, sunbathe, as they do, etc....I do not want my cats neurotic, either, as some house cats I have seen....so what do you suggest? I am listening....

First of all, I am not a dude.....second of all, I also heard of cat collars getting caught on things, if a cat climbs up a tree and choking them, so i beg to differ and trust me, I know about cats....None of my animals ever have to wear an awful collar....:2thumbsup:

I do appreciate the thought, Rolling, and maybe I can get some breakaway collars for when they are out, and put tiny bells on them....I have heard of those, so if the collar gets caught and the cat pulls, it breaks....:)

    Dude is pretty unisex.
I've actually never heard anyone say dude wasn't appropriate!

Hub took forever to wake and get going this morning. By the time he was ready, I fell asleep for 5 hours.

my outside cat sometimes wears a harness. he gets yard rabbits, but only if they are dumb, he is 10 years old, and a fatty. my other cat is an inside cat. i dont particularly care for collars, but more because im practical. i wont use a breakaway, because i have to buy a new collar and tags each time it breaks off. a harness wont choke them, but you'll get a laugh when you see them hanging from a fence post. mine was wearing a harness and a leash when he slipped/ tried to jump out of the tree. walked out the door to see him dangling, and as embarrassed as ive ever seen a cat, about eye level.
