This week has been kicking my ass.

I know what you mean. I'm kicking back. First time in years I'm going to drink it all in one sitting. This stuff isn't too bad for 11+ dollars. I just saw "Purple Cowboy" amd had to try it. Plus the cowboy kind of reminded me of Freddie Mercury for some reasob:

it was $35/ month, now its down to $30, since shes out of puppyhood. we went through Banfield, inside the petsmart store. it saved us a lot of money, and they have been really nice and helpful.

 

We have a traveling vet in our county. He travels regularly to oh, maybe 10 to 12 stops. He gives rabies shots at either $5 or $8. He will also give other medical attention, advise, etc. He is a WONDERFUL man, who I think is earning special points both here and on the other side. He has his own RV type thing that he sets up in specific places. There are 3 different sites I've taken my cats to or gone and have bought just a couple of rabies shots (which he is NOT supposed to do!).

About that...I fail to understand why the hell the gubmint/powers that be want to make it next to impossible for a person to buy a rabies shot?!? I mean, you can't get high on it and its FOR the health of the animal and any humans it may contact. Yet another thing I'm not smart enough to understand.

Do they have a humane society in Canada? They also provide low-cost spaying/neutering around here as well as lower-than-vet-costs for rabies shots and about the same services I described the WONDERFUL traveling vet giving. :2thumbsup: It seems like when I had BB spayed there they offer a type of general check up package, which was very reasonable.

 

Hell, here you can't even buy Advantage without a vet script.
