    It's a tripod made with re-bar with a three sided fire pit at the top.... It's about 40-42 inches at the top so it's a stand-up BBQ. You never heard of it before because I have the only one... :2thumbsup:

    In the first the 's is a possessive and incorrect.
    Second reads fine.

    i agree. "his kid's bike is in the meadow" would make sense, but as is the second is correct.

    couldn't the first one technically be a contraction of "it is" ?

    regardless, the second one reads better and is more clear.

    Sorta, kinda.

    There are some pronoun, noun situations where the 'is' contraction is best avoided. Although one can technically do it, it removes confusion by not using it. Looking at kid, I'm finding that people tend to avoid the contraction and in some cases dropping the 'is' all together, also works.
