Have any of you read the book Atlas Shrugged?

I just finished it a couple of days back. I don't think I've ever quite read anything as pompous as that book. I found a quote online which sums it up nicely - "This is not a book to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force."

 

I have been more into biographies lately which is funny because i dont like true story movies

 

I haven't read too many biographies, but I do enjoy reading musician's auto-biographies. Keith Richards has a pretty good one, called "Life" iirc.

 

ok, brain, heart, shut the fuck up. if we could please have one feeling or thought at a time, maybe we could form some conclusions. oh, i see you all still want to cram through at the same time. well, this is going to take awhile.

frankly it wouldnt surprise me if it takes years. this sucks so bad. i cant think, im like a zombie. i had a piece of bread for dinner. i know im supposed to eat, but theres no part of me that wants to. and now i know i need to sleep, but im wired. i just spent hours writing down the mess thats in my head, and i dont feel better, i dont feel like sleeping.

might see if i can get a job at a bakery around the corner. part time, but it would be out of the house, i would really only have to deal with smaller numbers of people at a time, and its decorating. im not professionally experienced, but i am artsy and craftsy, and i have dressed my fair share of cakes, some better than others. im a quick learner too. and i know my way around a kitchen. think bakey thoughts, my dears. and also, you know, good vibes would not go amiss

 

Im in the middle of mike doughty's now. Storys about people on drugs are always interesting. And he is just a funny guy, i bet if he didnt get into music he could have made it as a comedian. I want to get rick springfields next.

i was freezing this morning sleeping on the couch......reason being somebody stole my blanket right off me for a chew toy

he also gathered 2 other chew toys all onto the packing blanket i gave him to sleep on

 

and of course its one of my bestest white blankets
