I getting real hungry now - 2040 here - thinking of BBQ beef - tho I don't often eat beef or other red meat:)

Think I might take lil Billski out again and trawl takeaways in the immediate area:(

    gingerale is good

the ginger beer around here is usually jamaican style and too hot for me...If i want something hot Ill usually go with sorrel soda instead of ginger beer

i could say something interesting but i dont think it would be as riveting as the pop talk.....

spent all morning shovelling soil at the town dump...went and visited the usual suspects...got all fucked up...now the ferry is about to dock and i am hitting the corner store to buy beer....this is a designated tourist trap so the corner store is also the liquor/beer store

i have been to a couple tgif's and i liked them all...nice looking waitresses...big portions....i usually get treated pretty good at restaraunts....sometimes the staff can recognize a poor tipper as fast as they recognize me the good tipper

yeast is used to break down the sugars to create carbonation in root beer/birch beer.. so there is always an amount of alcohol in them.. since a by product of yeast breaking down sugar will create alcohol.. but its less than 1.0-.5%... so it doesn't have to be labeled as containing it... kinda like Non-Alcoholic Beer.. there is still some alcohol in it.. not enough to do or harm anything.. there are Alcoholic versions of booth.. but from what i've read the hardest is only 4%

Spent a week on Sanibel Island, (gulf coast Florida). Pristine beaches, nesting terns, dolphins, and football dolphins colors. I enjoyed it a lot.

Miami is coming up on my list of cities to travel to next and the more I research about it, the less appealing it seems. A year ago, I was DYING to go but then I moved it down the list. I have to go during one of the 2 not-so-humid months (which will be next spring, actually) because I can't be in high humidity, so that should help the general experience some. But there better be some major ass-kissing for me to write a good review in general :D , if it's anything like others are saying (residents and visitors).

Hint to ANY traveler - imply you're a travel writer and you'd be amazed at how people will go out of their way to help you, upgrade you, etc. I don't do it because then I don't have the TRUE experience to write about. (Although on a recent personal trip I DID get a major room upgrade at a 5-star hotel for FREE! :2thumbsup: Hubby liked that score!)

I was in the Orlando area last year and I couldn't believe all the different types of Christian Churches. I swear they were all on drugs when the church councils decided what they would be named! Denominations I never heard of - crazy!
