Ahh home after a long day,

Next week I have 37 hours full time at Casual rates....... thats sweet.

 

what does casual rates mean?

There is no standard definition of casual work but usually they are usually jobs that are temporary, have irregular hours and are not guaranteed to be ongoing.

Casual workers are entitled to some, but not all, of the benefits given to permanent workers.

Casual employees don't get paid holiday leave or sick leave but they are entitled to a higher rate of pay (casual loading), parental leave and, under the new Fair Work laws, casuals are protected from being sacked unfairly.

As a casual worker you are entitled to a loading on your hourly rate of pay, which means that your hourly pay rate should be more than the permanent workers’ doing the same work as you.

So it's kinda "temp" but not really depends sorta who ya work for type thing.

Casual loading is the additional hourly pay that casual workers are paid. The hourly pay rate for casual workers is the equivalent permanent hourly rate plus 15-25% of this hourly rate.


So me being Casual lets say I my base rate is $15/h I get that plus $3.75 on top so 18.75/h

Now Sat there's extra I think time and a half I get paid. And Sunday is Jackpot day here, Casual working sunday it's double time, so at 18/hr is $36/hr.

I can make more then the full timers as they don't get the penalty rates.

Just asking-how is ID going to prevent horrible, abusive people from adopting these kittens??? How will you know once they are gone, that they are being cared for??? They are beautiful kittens, and if I didn't already have 4 rescued cats, I would consider. you know the price of 1 ticket to see an "epic band" could allow you to see a ton of really awesome bands.. tickets to see plant.. waters.. etc.. through the roof.. and it's to see something that once was.. not something that still is... I'd rather see 15 local shows at $10 a pop than 1 $150 ticket to see plant.. page.. waters.. mccartney.. etc..

 

I work at a 4diamond mountain resort as a waitor in their bar/restruant/lounge. I don't work in the fine dining area where couples dinners are almost always several hundred. My place is more laid back, but still crazy as shit in its own way. I earn every cent i get up there. Its a big place with lots of employees.

I enjoy it because i make good money and i get to talk to lots of people. I will talk to people about the same stuff as i do on this site, if the conversation goes that way, but its not with stoners.

Ive had this one couple everynight for the last 3 days and they will be in tonight as well. Each night i get to know them more and ive been tipped more. I try and promote every table i have to tip me in cash or NYC style as some call it.

Give me that cash, cause i don't want to claim shit. And i don't either way.
