g'night dear.

ill be up for awhile yet. brain wont shut the fuck up.

 

My puppy doesn't appear to be eating much.. I'm not too concerned because his behaviour is still really good he's just not interested in eating much he'd rather sleep and play for 15 mins and then sleep some more. His stool is soft but holds form, no weird color there so that's all good. Sometimes he eats well, other times he's not hungry. I still think he's probably a bit depressed a little being away from his litter plus I was told without his litter mates he won't be driven to eat so perhaps I just need to wait for him to come around.
I talked it through my daddy and he wasn't concerned, we've sent across pics and vids and he's actually a little jealous ^.^ says we have a very good looking pup and all is looking normal with behaviour.

The only signs of stress I can see is tiredness, loss of appetite and the occasional biting and chewing but he's playing with his toys so that can't be much and when he tries to bite us I think he's only playing too, I remember all our pups used to always go for hands and fingers when we pat them and ankles and socks when we were walking.

He doesn't pace and is not frightened of much so no skittishness. It's definitely me being overly protective and concerned.. He's the child I can't ever have.. My motherly instincts here. =p

I bet your puppy is really sad being away from his litter, Irmi.

Just give him extra TLC.

 

Yeah and the rabbits don't bark back so he doesn't like them lol. Actually the rabbits have so much faith in the cheap pet fencing it's quite worrying.. Like literally they aren't afraid of him when he's paw bashing it, barking jumping etc. they're like "we are behind here, you're over there, what ya gone do??" Too bad his idea of "playing" is trying to bite their faces off xD otherwise I'd put them together just to see what happens.

 

Hello. He will be all right, Irm. It takes about one week to adjust to a new environment anyway for cats and dogs, and yes, he probably does miss his litter mates, but if you constantly give him attention, which I am sure you are, he should be ok very soon. I hope he eats something tomorrow. Hunger does start kicking in sooner or later. He is adorable, and your Tundra puppy is adorable, too, Rolling....

 

One of my sisters is flying all the way here for my house warming on the weekend, how exciting!
