appendicitis doesnt always start out excruciating, excruciating means it probably burst.
if there has been stress or medication changes, that can effect timing, cramping etc.
it could be something intestinal, like diverticulitis.
it could be an ectopic pregnancy, that can be dangerous.
a miscarriage involves contractions. hard, fast, and terrible. followed by blood.
she is young, but she might have cysts, or fibroids.

she should see a doctor immediately. there is no reason not to. she only gets one body. i, for one, am very aware of my body, and i can tell when something is wrong or different.

Well apparently she just got it last night/this morning... So I suppose all is good now...

Or so she says.. I'd still prefer she got it checked out just because thats still weird... But ohwell, maybe it was just something insignificant... if she starts becoming regular and normal again i guess its fine (but i don't really know.... thats just what she tells me, i don't know any of these things lol)

Story about a burst appendix: Background: My good friend since childhood has a very high pain tolerance as she has 2 or 3 kinds of arthritis and Ryder's disease.

LP had been feeling "a little" under the weather, but nothing major...according to her. But during a night she felt really bad and decided she would go to her doctor the next day. She went early in the morning, and EVERYBODY in the doctor's office "got excited"...seems they couldn't find a blood pressure.

All the doctors in the building came in to see her since they had never seen "a dead man (or woman) walking". That is what the term for her was. They had heard and learned that term in medical school but it was rare to actually get to see one of these people. lol She is a trip, I'll grant you. :)

She was rushed to the hospital and told if she had waited as little as 30 minutes longer, that would've been it for her. After they operated on her, she was told that not only had the appendix burst - at some point - but that gangrene had begun to set in.

lol WW, that is exactly how I refer to her sometimes - my miracle friend. She laughs and says its a miracle she hasn't killed me because of my "shenanigans".

We really are. I've had a lot of acquaintances during the years; but she is the one person I honestly feel is my true friend, and I'm lucky enough to have had her since childhood. When I lived across the state, we still kept in touch, etc etc. :)

I have one other "friend"...she is as crazy as a loon...being sincerely crazy and totally self-absorbed takes up too much space inside one's head to really be a friend to anyone, even to yourself...imho anyway.

    :2thumbsup: lol

In my head I'm seeing a chicken running around without its head, but its not crazy either. Its "lost" its head.

Now the chicken without a head is what my "friend" reminds me of. :)

Rolling- yes, thats called an ectopic pregnancy.

but for what its worth, some women have a period tight up until they have a baby. my grandmother had a regular cycle throughout her pregnancy with my aunt, she KNEW she was pregnant, but the doctors wouldnt even look at her, they said if she was having a period then she wasnt pregnant. she had had my mom already, so she knew what it felt like. stupid doctors. maybe if she had gotten care (though at that time care wasnt fantastic) my aunt laura might have had a stronger start, and survived her childhood. maybe. who knows.

whoops, i came on here to ask something, lol :)

does anyone have an opinion on under-mounted kitchen sinks? pros/ cons? ive always had overmounts, but as im doing research trying to decide which direction my kitchen is going in, im trying to decide which would be better. i do plan on getting a sink with one deeper / bigger side, so that i can fill and clean my stock pots easier, and my canners. and my vegetables, once i can really grow them. i am not going to go apron-front, i can make a faux front if i really want to.

thank you. i never met her, she was just a little girl when she died. my mom was still little too, and her sister was just "disappeared" out of the family. my grandfather is still alive and STILL wont talk about her. my mom found some pictures stashed at my great-grandfather's house before he died, they are the only ones she has. its a fucked up thing to do to a little girl, to pretend her sister never even existed. thats why my son knows about his brother, we have always been honest about death in this house.

    Gotta earn those red wings:2thumbsup:

But seriously I agree. If you can't take a break that's a a not a good sign. Is that really the only reason your with her?

Your addicted to the sugar and salt. Companies do that on purpose.
