this is one of the dish/ china patterns i collect. my first piece was an oval platter, that belonged to my great-grandmother, my mom's father's side of the family. it came to me damaged, as my hermitty grandpa never took care of it, microwaved and dishwashed it, but i fell in love with the pattern right away. yesterday, i added a lump sugar bowl and lid to my collection. i have cheap tastes, it was only 7 bucks. i also got a hand-crank mixer for $3, it needs a new knob

i left some brand new text books on my desk yesterday morning, and when i got back from class in the afternoon they were all warped from the humidity. i'm used to it in the gta, but didn't expect it to be like this up here.

 

yup, all moved in! the place is awesome. the building only has 6 units, and 2 of them have direct access to outside, so i only share a stairwell/hallway with 3 other people and i've smelled weed out there a few times now, as well as smelling it on my balcony so that's a good sign!

pretty sure the guy across the hall is a drug dealer of some sort because many evenings and on the weekends people will stop by and leave after a few minutes - seems to be the same few cars most of the time. i haven't actually met him though... really hoping he sells weed, because that would be ridiculously convenient. not sure how to bring it up when i do meet him though... most drug dealers would be pretty put off by it. i guess i'll start by asking him if he wants to come over and smoke a joint with me, lol.

haha....no i havnt heard of him....but if he comes near here i'll throw rocks at him.......no one i know has ever put weed between rows of corn

I dunno. I think the barefooting forum would get a good deal more traffic if nuspieds wasn't there. He scared away most of us that used to use it for fun and frolic.

He is dumb to not be following the 30 minute rule. Every dealer I have had will want me to hang out at the house for a bit if we meet there. For just the reason you noticed. People will see when you have that much traffic. If you offer to smoke with him just hint that you need a new guy and see what he says.

we have weather warnings and a tornado touched down in smiths falls which is about 80k...........hot neighbor works afternoons in smiths falls

 

I played mini golf today got a hole in one! I lost in the end though, both times. They had a really cool nature cave down a path filled with tables and chairs, a picnic table, two fire pits surrounded with chairs, and a bar topped off with a little mini stove.
