I just missed a trip. Now I wanna go really bad, almost more excited about ice congos than the snowboarding now though.

 

Yess! Just had a week recently in France snowboarding, unfortunately there's been a serious lack of snow this winter in Central Europe (well the last few months), so there was lots of artificial snow combined with sketchy sheets of ice and slush.

I wear a helmet these days so I don't really get the ice dreads thing as much as I used to.

Anyway, went again last week (Switzerland this time) and the snow was much better there, due to recent snowfall. That'll probably be the last time for this season though :devil:

 

I live in a resort so I get to snowboard 3-4 times a week. And it's on the west coast of Canada so LOTS OF POWDER! I wear a helmet too but the dreads that stick out get all icy. May post pics.

I board and my girl skis. It's awesome here we've got 60" right now and I live just 150 miles from the mountain and where I live its in the 70's. Can't complain. I wear a helmet boarding as I cut trees often so my hair is usually out of the elements. I have plugs that freeze up though and sometimes whistle on the lift if the winds pick up.

 

Don't be so sensitive. Who cares. Never knew it was an offensive term. So whats the "politically correct" term for a person with dreads?

Its all good. It's just something I really get fed up with about society now. And I thought this would be the last place I'd have to see or hear that type of shit. I guess its more of a problem here in America. The whole "politically correct" bs. Ya dont know what to call anyone anymore without them getting offended.
