Taking hubby to the hospital in a little while. He wanted to rest first.

He has been extremely light headed today. He sat for several hours on the porch because that's as far as he could get.

He got up and fell backwards. I got out of my chair in time to grab his arm and keep his head from hitting the brick step.

He got to a seated position on the ground and threw up.

After a few minutes I could get him back into the chair.

After about 45 minutes I could walk him into the house.

    Sheeesh...

    Thank you, Ori.

He's just so weak from having the diarrhea. I'm sure he is badly dehydrated and anemic. We will see what the rest of his numbers look like when we get some vitals and blood work.

I gotta go make sure I can wake him. He was nodding off in the chair out front after he fell and vomited.

He has been drinking water and sweet tea this week since we're broke.

It's just this chronic diarrhea. It's been really bad this week but he has had it for 8 or 9 years.

I gave him apple juice and a banana after he got over being nauseated. I think that's the only way he had the strength to get from the porch to the bed.

You're supposed to pick those steel rods up before you mow...

Hope everything goes okay, Aeri... It sounds like he's not doing so good.

Spent most of the afternoon sculpting a slope behind the house with the John Deere... Gonna put in flagstone stairs there. I need to move the flagstone from where it is now and would rather not move it twice, or three times. So I may as well build those stairs now and start the grass seed where that's supposed to go. I'll get to the landscaping part some other time, like next year.

Where the flagstone is sitting now is supposed to be an herb and flower garden just off the back patio and I need to get started on that next... I'm way late on planting seeds.

Hubby's sister came through with $40.

Yay, now I'll have gas to drive back and forth to the hospital.

    And thank you, Tyrson.

i hate having to move things twice. thats a big issue with me getting anything completed, i will wait until i can do it correctly/ to my standards, which means waiting for everything to fall into place, and often waiting for the right materials.

    Damn. Hubby is no better.

He got out of bed to try to make it to the bathroom and started having a seizure. I tried to hold him up but when he fell backward to pulled me down on top of him. He narrowly missed hitting his head on the bedside table. He landed on his back and I landed on my side. We were on the floor between the wall and the bed.

I got untangled from him and the bed post and he sat up. He couldn't stand though and he wouldn't let me call an ambulance because he had shit in his depends.

He refused to let me clean him up too.

I knew I could pull him up if he had something to push against with his feet. I dragged over a foot locker and put it against the wall. Then I got a night stand and laid it down end to end with the foot locker. He pushed with his feet against that and I pulled him up enough to throw his upper body onto the bed. Then he got his feet against the baseboard and pushed himself up into the bed.

Meanwhile, the remaining kitten is sick and acting like he is in his death throws and hubby won't allow me to leave the kitten to go to the hospital with him. He said the kitten will die without me.

He got up to shit again and we made it to the bathroom. He couldn't walk out though so I had to bring a kitchen chair to put under him halfway out of the bathroom. He sat in it and said he had to shit again so I had to help him to the toilet again.

    There he sits.

This night is going to be long as hell.

Oh yeah, and he looked at the urine in his bag - he has a urostomy - and his urine is fucked. It's dark and thick and fucked up.

I'm bruised and sore but so far neither of us is injured badly. He complains of his upper back and neck but he didn't hit that the first time he fell when outside.

He also noticed anytime he turns his head he gets all wobbly and his hearing goes.

This is fucked up. He's so stubborn that as long as he is conscious I have to do things his way.

He said he was ready to get off the toilet and to go lay in the bed with the kitten - that he had to help it get better. He got up, said I'm going, and hurriedly walked to the bed without falling.

He is in there with the kitten on top of him.

I gotta take the dogs out.
