one of my friends turns 91 or 92 this year

i dont bother visiting anymore...she doesnt remember anyone anyway except for the people at the place where she lives now

it just confuses her to try and remember

 

Good morning from Dubai. :seeya:
Not too long and I'll be flying into Southern Hemisphere back into winter. And apparently it really is cold where my folks live, frosts have come early for them.

 

That's got to be strange feeling, Irmi.

 

It will be yeah. Like, I always say Australia does t get a winter. Like only a small section of it. The folks live in that section because it was highland and bushland and so when we moved there it felt more like home. It is a few hours away from the snow fields and it may snow once a year there but it'll never set. Also the days are quite mild and warm but mornings and night time the temp gets low, frozen and frosty but it goes away in the day. Lots of fogs though. And the wind is always cold because it comes off the snowfields and rushed down the valley into the city. If the wind goes away then shirt and light pants in the day is easy but once the sun disappears which is early behind the mountains, it gets cold. But not like European winters. I have a hoodie in my suitcase. That should be good enough hehe. Only a week!

I just found Irish pub in Dubai airport. 8€ a beer. -.-
No wonder country is rich.

 

I give blood today for two baseball tickets. I didnt do a shale pictorial tho. I went wee wee for the railroad, Im either busted with synthetic wiz or got the job.. Im terrified, its much memorizing codes, colors, abbreviations and communications .... and the first thing Im going to do it pile up a bunch of oil cars... oO..

 

Had one of these sitting on my hand for about 5 minutes in the meditation garden...

 

i will hazard a guess here and say being a lesbian in Dubai is against the law.....not rainbow friendly

I only thought 'why would any westerner want to go there. I know its beautiful and lots to do but they have some crazy laws.

 

creepy girl walks thru the alleyways takes pictures off me thru the weeds and the trees playing the guitar on the crappy crate ghetto amp..... I know her but dont know her, when shes spotted she shuffles off real fast but only one way back around ,and she passes by the front..... I seen her once other time, i was scratching my nuts on the back porch in the morning .. she was taking pictures walking down the alley-ways... she cute and all but Im curious what the fuck she so interested in me for..

But pretty much, the airport has to be the most hypocritical place on this piece of land because no matter what they believe, the airport gotta be neutral for all walks of life. They can't even pray in public, they gotta go pray in their designated rooms etc. and there's alcohol available and a world of sin really

Anyhoo I'm off in flight mode now. I'll check in in about 14hrs or so.
