hyperthyroidism. the measurement that was high at my last labwork is usually high at the end of pregnancy. i think im slightly overmedicated now. im not hungry, and yet still gaining weight. its the not wanting to eat that bothers me most. i want to start working down off it so that my body has a chance to equalize itself.

I was just completely outraged right. I wanted to buy VIP tickets to a couple of rappers I like and would have liked to meet and talk to and you get free stuff with the VIP right. Stickers, magnets, poster etc. and I thought well that's annoying to carry into a concert but I'll just suss out a locker right?

Btw this is for concert in Sydney when I fly to Australia to see my family in a couple of weeks.

So I go to order and it says all that merch will be shipped to your address. Cool! That's much better right? Don't have to worry about it now. I selected my folks address and hope it'll be there when I'm there. If not the VIP is called at the door so I just need paperwork.

Got my mom a kindle for xmass last year and let her use my amazon prime so she can get free or cheap books.
Finally got myself a kindle fire and i set it up. Since i had hers in my name so she can use my account. Well they combine mine and hers. Now i am afraid to look at porn because i dont know what will just go to the cloud where she will come across it.

 

Dug up 3 of those Tulip Poplar saplings, one went right in the ground near the house and I potted up the other two. Where I put the one near the house is on the west side, outside my bedroom window. (not right up against the house, about 25-30 feet out... This is near the meditation garden. There is already an Oak and a Ginkgo tree over there, so this will be a third shade tree on that side of the house. I also have several Rhododendron and a few smaller plants for the meditation garden... I'll score some others later in the season.



Not sure where the other two Tulip Poplars are going to go yet... I'm gathering what I can for transplanting, some for the backyard and some for the "new field"... (Cherry, Oak, Maple, Poplar, etc. etc. There's a bunch of Hickory yet to dig up too)

broinlaw just dug out a Rhododendron, ants just going crazy on it. they afraid the ant will find the house .

 

the hunger aspect may be tied in, but since i have felt overmedicated i have been making an exception to my efforts. its the only thing making me eat at all right now. she kept me at the same dosage. im not thrilled, but i did tell her i didnt want to go up at all. she gave me a print out showing my numbers. my TSH is stable, and pretty much has stayed the same forever, thats the pituitary hormone that tells the thyroid what to do. then theres the T3 and the T4 hormones, those are actually produced BY the thyroid. my T4 has been coming down steadily, but my T3 is stubborn. i get another blood draw early in july, she might lower dosage, but im guessing will keep me the same, and then we set up bloodwork and an appt for october, so that we can see how im adjusting postpartum. shes really nice, but shes a very busy doc. there arent a lot of people on my side of the thyroid fence though, most people have hypothyroidism, and i think most of the people she treats have diabetes. yay glandular disorders, right?

i blame eating too much fast food during my last pregnancy (iodized salt, and the thyroid is the only thing that uses iodine in the body) combined with the early delivery of the twins. there was no natural decrease in hormones for me, i was making for 3 people, and was suddenly just one person again. then the stress of losing a child, and stress has been shown to make matters worse, and then i waited 2 years to see a doctor about it, and at that point basically had to be forced to get treatment. unmedicated i ate a ton of food, and lost weight horribly. swollen thyroid gland, looked like i swallowed a soft ball. insomnia, and exhaustion. racing heart plus palpitations. untreated it can cause thyroid storm, which is basically a "you cant get to the hospital in time to live" problem. i just want my body to do what its supposed to and level out. i hate taking meds every day. the other med option is twice a day, but i seem to respond well to the one im on. as is she is keeping me at the same dosage for now. bleh.

 

i keep getting that fainting feeling when you havent eaten all day ...have no idea why

I had a dream about you last night, Spaceman...oh, oh.....do not dream about people here too often in dreams....i had one about Ace once, also. The dream I had about you is that we met and liked each other very much as human beings.....nothing dirty....just genuine like....sort of the same dream I had about Ace, once, too.

Both were good dreams and both dreams left me feeling happy.

I always have a dream where I am wearing roller blades but it's not a good place to do that. Like I am at a stadium with lots of stairs and I am thinking why am I wearing skates this is stupid. I can't walk and I feel like an idiot. I did some research and it could mean I feel unsure of some things.
