On the topic of Fentanyl - Hubby was on those maybe 8 years ago. He had the patches and the lollipops. He asked to come off them. He didn't like the way they made him nod so much.

I dont understand why a doc wouldnt want a script patient. See them for 5 minutes charge for a visit. Yes it isnt as much but it is quick and easy i would think.

On the subject...went to see my urologist last week just to refill and he gave me an article and said that is why he is retiring in a few months.
It basiclly said there is too much involvement from the government, lawyers, and insurance companies for doctors to do what they want which is do what is best for the patient.
At the moment there wont be a uroligist for an hour drive away (farther for people closer to the hospital....go figure) when he leaves.

I nibbled on a Fentanyl a couple times. shit is hella wicked. id never do that again, unless of course my spine was broken or something crazy like that.. I dont even use the opiates I have now. that is only the 5mg oxy.. I used to get 20s. but they want to see me to much for that and the new pills not even worth the aggravation and not worth it when I cant afford the doctor to begin with. no problems with the 5mg a month. people say ya can snort these, but its a lot of filler.. did that a couple times, but no thanks. I like to breath..

I don't donate to charity often. Maybe a vision of hearing centre if I do but I'm totally thinking of paying $124 for American charity to help feed your elderly. Then I'll get my name printed on the hood of Jeff Gordon's car. Then I can buy the replicated diecast and my name will be there. :)

Really, with hubby having the seizures and the neurologist not finding a reason, I think the pain doc is just playing CYA. They told hubby that Tramadol can lower your seizure threshold and that's why they don't want him on it.

He had another seizure, Friday night two weeks ago, that he won't even tell the pain doc about because he's trying so hard to get his Tramadol back; which means when he goes to the neurologist he will also lie about that.

I don't like that lying and not telling doctors about seizures. They are scary and can hurt him.

    He drives me crazy, Y'all.

My mom used to always lie to the docs. She would always make things out to be not as bad as they really are. Until recently and i asked her why...she said because now her life is on the line. I guess thats a good reason.

I never thought there is a reason to lie. "Yeah doc i drink to much and its gonna stay that way so just fix me up the best you can and save your lecture for the next patient."

:D yeah, I really wanted to do it last year but I didn't. This will be the last opportunity forever to ride along with Jeff Gordon and maybe, he'll read those names and for a brief instant in the history of the universe, my hero knew my name and acknowledged that I helped him help somebody else. :)

It doesn't look thaaaaat great, but I think it's a cool idea and gives fans some interaction.
