About 1 1/2 hours ago, I had the first firecrackers I've eaten since Monday.

I've felt like chewing my foot off - left ankle that is - for a time.

From my personal experience, I can say that this edible makes my bionic (metal plated and screwed) ankle feel about 1000% better.

I wasn't eating any firecrackers so I could pass a piss drug test at Lowe's...that sounds like a good place to work...right?

    I decided aout 1 1/2 hrs ago...fuck it. :)

I can't imagine how much pain that ankle can cause you.

Believe it or not, I was thinking of how you and BBAD and Ty have to deal with pain, and overall pain, on a daily basis, if not very careful.

I have dealt with pain from a (bad) back injury that happened when I was in my 20s but acupuncture and going to a chiropractor have helped to totally erase that at times...Im lucky my other broken bones haven't given me so much pain that I wasn't able to deal or something. Heating pads, which are supposed to be just the WORST thing to use helps my back when its been bad too. :)

but having this steel in my foot/ankle is like nothing else I've ever deal with. mercysakes...Thursday I got this BANG POW thing that started happening in my ankle, on and off.

So, well, you can see tonight I said enough is enough.

Firecrackers can and will help what tylenol or ibuprophen don't. :D

Also, its really a good thing I can't get hold of pain killers or get them prescribed to me like I would like...I admit that.

I need to have to go to as much trouble as possible to score opiates. [IMG] Did I just use the word to enough times in that sentence?

    I feel better now. lol

I think EVERYBODY could benefit from at least a "lite" firecracker. Sometimes I think I need to dose The Mother with one. no...j/k :D

Firecrackers make me feel better mentally but even BETTER take away and/or ease any body pain you have. You are "eased for at least 5 to 6 hours, and even more for some.

My light weight (German) brother-in-law says they make him lethargic the next day. lol but he's a wus...I eat twice what he eats.

We have a fireplace that hasn't been used since I was 5 or 6 yrs old...that'd be more than 50 yrs ago.

DAYUM that sounds like a long time ago. I love a fire, and hate that I'd have to go to immense trouble to get it in working order again.

I also wanted to say that even though I forgot to mention you up there in dealing with pain, I DID think about you... I know or just think you even have extra character from dealing. :)

    I'm lucky, Lynn.

Mostly, I only hurt when I move if you don't count muscle cramping.

told the boy i cant get any inside chores done if i have to stand at the window and supervise him working out front. i really hate letting him be out there by himself, but its a cool morning, and i should be able to trust my neighborhood that much, right? hes just an almost 9 year old, doing some yardwork. i hope i dont get arrested for child neglect, or enslavement. weird- ass society we live in. open up the windows so i can hear him, will feel better with a fence. i just cant DO anything out there anymore. i want to, i just cant. cant get down. cant sit in one position too long to pull weeds, cant get back up. cant lift, cant twist. at most i can cut weed fabric, which i might just do. start laying it in the edge areas so they look like they were done on purpose. i wasnt going to, but eh. im running out of time. then maybe we can better utilize the middle mulch. we could focus on squashes and melons, even without a fence. i want to work. ive felt the nesting urge for months, and couldnt do shit with my mom here. now its crazy, and i am losing physical capability. i keep stepping on pets because i cant see my feet, plus toys and clothes being sorted, puppy puddles, everything.

gotta make progress. hubby had a good day at work, i just hope it will be another good one today, and that tomorrow is decent. we have to get organized with the tip-based budget.

Planted one tree and a few perennials.... Carpenter's weed (no, not that carpenter's weed. The other one that grows wild) and a gold bar Miscanthus. Tons more to do, that was the easy stuff. Still clearing the flagstone out of the herb/flower garden and then I have to dig out all the grass/weeds that was growing between the stones... Then soil amendments. Chipmunk is pissed off. He thought those stones were for him.

Erin is being adventurous, playing in the kitchen.

Time for coffee in the front patio garden.

Took my ankle medication again. :D

I had a nap earlier and dreamed/nightmared I was sleeping on the last jackass-sob bf's chest and kissing him. godalmighty [IMG] Why in the hell I think I needed to share that I have no idea. Perhaps because it makes me want to swear off naps and even sleep?

He was bad enough to basically make me "see the light of relationships and me"...this was 1999.

Another reason I'm sharing is because Very Few people seem to be reading and replying on these chat threads. lol

I'm sure I'll post again (quickly) so as not to leave that pos [IMG] as the main subject of the only thing I post here tomight...

    :)

    I'll post.

Hubby has ants in his room. Two kinds. Big black carpenter ants and little picnic ants.

The little ants are in his bed. He washed some of his bedding but didn't feel like moving all his crap off the bed so he didn't change the bed. He put down fresh beach towels on top of the bottom sheet.

I told him he could have asked me to help but he reminded me that I wasn't feeling well. Yeah, but I took a short nap and woke up feeling fine. He had hours to ask me for help and he didn't.

I removed the kitten. The kitten(s) started out in a carrier on the floor under his desk. After most of them died and the remaining one had a little sick spell, he moved the carrier onto his bed so he could keep a close eye on the kitten.

He might not know or care that he has ants crawling on him but I'm not letting ants get in the carrier and attack my kitten.

I swear to god, this man is a fucking nightmare to live with.

There are a small "picnic" sized ant here that are worker ants for the large carpenter ants...
