That annoys me too. No offense but it seems common with middle eastern people. Just the culture that you haggle. "My friend I will be loyal customer you give me better deal". I hate to haggle just please pay the asking price it costs that for a reason.

    here come today's storms.
    http://kdvr.com/weather/maps-and-radar/interactive-radar/

i need a scythe for the backyard. i wouldnt be able to use it, in my "delicate" condition, but its getting that insane out there. i feel bad for the neighbors, but it wont stop raining long enough to dry out!
neighbors to the east of us were trimming trees this morning. our bedrooms are on that end of the house. to their credit, they didnt start until 8 am, but i havent been sleeping well, and the window was open, and the cool morning temperature as the sun came up was perfectly comfortable. i could have gotten a solid 2-3 hours, no potty break. bleh. so i got up and started getting stuff done around the house. dishes still stacked, but progress in the living room, and my room, kid worked pretty hard on his, and is doing laundry.

im worn the hell out. i have to get caught up so i can get hubby to move furniture and get baby stuff washed and set up. got the old car seat out, needs to be cleaned. then theres the clothes, i have no idea what is stained, or if theres any age damage. dusty certainly. theres so much to do. holy crap.

getting finished up with the deck in the back. multi tasking between ripping the other one off and chopping it up, layering the soil under, weed block, painting the wall, foam insulation, termite ant proofing.. once the first piece went against the house, and the box came up around from that.. its like holy shit Im almost done. then it looks like hell with the old fucking door and ugly window but both will come out for the sliding glass door.. so that makes me sad. and chopping that out is going to make my deck all filthy, maybe not to much... didnt take any before pictures, but some progress pictures after ... Ill put them all up all at once when im finished.

My front yard, the only one I have to keep decent for the neighbors, needs some love.

It sounds like Mother Nature is dictating that you turn your attention to inside tasks ML. At least she's trying to keep you from splitting your intentions between indoors and out.

My dog, Emma, is sick she has thrown up several times last night and this morning, and she is pooping like a fire hose; even in her kennel overnight.

I also have a cat who's vomited bile a few times this morning.

So, you know I'm doing the major washing of several changes of dog bedding; cooking rice water for them; moved some big racks and the kitchen table last night; still have to get back to straightening out everything involved with that.

I slept too late to work in the front flowerbed because I was up until 6 a.m.

My daughter brought her dog over at 1:00 this afternoon. She woke me up and told me Emma had puked and pooped in the kennel.

    Anyway...I'm multi-tasking too.

Stone stairs are done, so is the stone meditation bench... Need to build the circular path from one to the other, finish the waterfall and plant some stuff.

    Not today though.

Before I moved (back) to the Twilight Zone, I had a yard sale. Singular...one sale

I will NEVER EVER have another yard sale as long as I live...EVER.

Having people dig through my stuff, and then want to "dicker" me down made me want to do them physical harm...think punching them in the throat.

I would probably swear off humanity if I ever were to have another yard sale. I don't even like to go to yard sales because of this:

I will willingly pay whatever price is asked, if I want an item...it wouldn't occur to me to want to appear to be poor trash, wanting to pay relatively nothing for something I actually wanted. There are many things I'm open-minded about...but that "negotiating" and "bickering" pretty much disgust me...on both ends.

I'm not feeling all that great...can ya tell?
