Weather is nice here... Supposed to rain this evening, we can use it. Gotta water before I leave today, just in case.

not sure Im really liking the chiller I made .. basically a bunch of spare parts and new evaporator, Im thinking the compressor has some bad valves. every now and then Im getting warm gas in the evaporator and then it goes back to normal range of superheat .. when its running right its like the freezer/cooler section of the store.. could be the gas too, some leftover 401a zeotropic so it could be shitty gas and splitting. Im going to replace it with 134a when I can buy a fresh tank..

to hot outside to do much.. fucking asshole weatherman and the news desk cunts, its a beautiful day out there in the 80s., yeah must be nice if you dont have to work in it....

I have to kill grass in the island by the driveway and mailbox. I usually just smother it with leaves but it may be too late for that. It's going to be tedious because there are irises and lilies out there that I have to spray around if I spray. There's a cactus and two butterfly bushes too. I hate that it's gotten out of hand.

I bought a gerbera daisy and an echinacea to put out there, too.

There's no way right now. It's in full sun and I have a headache from hell.

I'll try to plan to do it first thing tomorrow morning.

r22 is going bye bye soon. while its still out there,, Id suggest to get stocked up if that's your systems gas.
some home ac here is 134a and Frigidaires can be 134a too. but yeah its mostly used in automobile ..
I made this ac with some junk I took from behind a heating cooling place., of course if its junk its probably junk. lol ... I cant swap the compressor til I get some more gas. thats why Im letting it do its thing right now.

I cleaned up a lot in the house today...vaccummed up about a pound of cat hair in 2 rooms. had to empty the canister thing twice. :yikes: right :D

I should be in the yard and/or planning to; but, I sooo dread having to get all bug sprayed up. It leaves such an awful feeling on the skin; but, not worse than EVIL mosquitoes. :p I really do have a bunch of plants I need to get planted and potted.

My echinacea bed is doing really well already this year. That 1st purple coneflower bloom came forth yesterday...I'll have to watch out though because insects also LOVE this flower.

killing grass is done with old gas here

when i have a lawnmower or snowblower tank of old stuff i dribble it along the slab cracks to keep the grass from growing there..only stinks for a day

If it dosnt rain going to have a yard sale. Spent the day cleaning out the shed. I can actually find what i need without digging through hundreds of pounds of shovels, boards, fishing gear, and lots of other random things that i havnt touched since i moved here.

We got a short thunderstorm... Didn't drop a bunch of rain, what it did drop happened all at once, though.
