more rain.. still cant mow the lawn surrounding the house... grass is so damn tall. gonna have to put the lawnmower on highest cut... then rake lawn... then cut again lower... then rake...

 

Hey Broony!

My son wound up letting the grass in his yard get really tall...he always would plan to cut it on weekends, and it would wind up raining about the whole time. After just a couple or 3 weeks, he said he thought there were probably animals living in it!

Finally a non-rain weekend came and he got out his push mower. One of his neighbors felt sorry for him (I guess - lol) and brought over this high-powered weed whacker for him to use. James said he didn't really think it would work; but wasn't going to turn them down since they were being so nice. Then, he said it cut down that high grass like butter. :2thumbsup:

The deer love the grass though... yesterday a very young 2 point buck was laying in the lawn eating like a true lazy animal..

I like having tall grass... i like the natural look... but then sometimes you doing things outside and... shit.. this needs to be cut lol...

My landlord has a weedwacked but its useless.. landlord very busy.. she cant keep up on it.. so its me.

I also have a roommate now who in the 2nd bedroom now. He the center guy in that picture of us 3... perfect roommate.. perfect.. he using my bike to get around town as he has no car. Not sure how long he will be here, but he will be living with me for the summer. Perfect roommate.. its nice to have... ive been living alone for awhile, company is nice..
