I don't miss hurricanes at all.
Im glad that im away from them. Usually hurricanes aren't bad but sometimes they are very underestimated and end up being way worse than you think.
We always evacuated at a category 3 or higher.. but we lived right on the water and you never knew what the outcome was.

Its always good to have plenty of water and things like canned food because you can loose electricity and water for quite a while. Even with small hurricanes that are just like bad thunderstorms. I guess it depends on where you are. A lot of people have generators but we never had one.

I can't wait to see more snow! And go sledding and stuff.
It was just so beautiful and amazing i couldn't believe it... i guess i still can't sometimes

Is it horrible that i wish i was inside that bouncy castle? I know a lot of little kids probably got hurt, but OMG that would be the most exciting bouncy castle experience evaar... You're just jumping away then HOLYSHIT YOU'RE FLYING...

I know a guy who has this little machine (no clue what they're called) that prints designs on clothing, hats, shirts, pants, etc.. and he's giving it away.. I was thinking, I could start up my own little website where people design their own clothings, or can pick from a selection i've designed, and buy them...

I took computer/website design classes for 4 years all throughout highschool and can make a pretty decent website, i've also taken business classes for 2 years and know a little about that and marketing (not much, just highschool level stuff lol.. but still, better than nothing) And i also took art all throughout highschool and am fairly decent with that..

So i was thinking it's worth a shot, make a few extra bucks on the side, except it'd cost me a little under $100 to get it all setup.. wondering if it's worth it, i know how hard it is to get traffic to your sites.. this could be a $100 down the drain.

Opinions? I know what a lot of your responses may be since the majority of you think i'm more or less retarded but i'm fairly smart when i try, and when it comes to making money i always try lol.

i have 4 pairs of pants that are all very cool and ive had them for probably 9 years...hardly worn...but my god they are so fucking long....can't believe i ever bought pants so long. Not to mention losing weight from getting clean..

so i measured them out and cut 4 inches in length off all of them...now i gotta fold them in and sew them so they don't unstitch themselves...

yea its a pain in the ass...but its better then searching and buying 4 new pairs when these be fine.

i must admit im pretty good at this custom clothing line i do from time to time.

 

could be a screenprinting press...a one color one goeas for 2000 dollara...a 4 color...which is the minimum you will need costs about 5000 dollars...

then there is the dryer that costs about 3000 used minimum and 10,000 new...you can use air dry ink but it is garbage and washes out...

with the printing press you need screens, home made ones are garbage...new good ones are about 40 dollars each and you will need at least 30...

then the ink is about 100 dollars a gallon and you need at least black,white and the 3 primaries

and the light exposure unit to burn the screens is 2000 dollars

and then the albatross gun to clean fingerprints off the shirts is 120 dollars

and then the assorted chemicals such as varsol,reducer,thinning agent,various catalysts....various pallets sizes. all about 2000...cleaning the screens to reuse requires a special visit from the city to show you have a way to collect those chemicals so they dont get in the city water...systems about 1500 if you build it and 10 thousand if you buy it...

the special spray glue is 12 dollars a can

if you dont shoot your own screens for production getting someone else to do it is 120 a screen minimum.....

artwork.......how the fiuck are you gonna print a 4 color print...even if the dude wants a hundred of them all you gotta do is ruin a couple and you are working for free



i have pics of me and my daughter printing t shirts in her/my living room...it can be done...

but i have 15 years experience...a rookie would take years learning the ropes....that...and there is a million people with embroidery machines trying to get people to go that route instead of screening........



likely he is giving away a ''heat press'' for applying decals that you buy and apply or print with special ink and paper off the computer and then heat them on....you see them in all the malls..they are worth 200 used ..if its mot digital dont bother...the temperature strips you need are 100 dollars for 60

 

I could have a job doing that, because my one best friend, he has his own printing business in Franklin Pa, its like 180miles from me. We had printing together in high school.. I remember those classes being so fun, my locker right out side the door had a weed plant in it. crazy things you do after watching fast times @ ridgemont

 

i did it before i was a stagehand for 10 years and another 8 after i was a stagehand...
