We made salsa and hot sauce today with Naga Bhut Jolokia aka Ghost Peppers aka the worlds hottest pepper...

just to put that in perspective.. here is a list of peppers according to scoville units.. the units used to measure pepper heat..

Jalapenos - 2,500-8,000 SHU
Habanero - 100,000-300,000 SHU
Bhut Jolokia - 800,000-1,000,000

in the salsa I used 2 1/2C of jalapenos and 2 ghost peppers and made 7 quarts of some very hot. but tolerable salsa.. but then again i love heat.. and in the hot sauce I used a handful of hot peppers from the garden.. about 1C of habaneros and 3 ghost peppers.. made about 3 quarts of hot sauce.. and that shit is HOT.. it'll be fun trying to down some wings

i watched a documentary on the bhut jolokia and found a salsa that was made with the ghost pepper....yah awesome hot

 

I'm very pleased with how it all turned out.. we had been gifted a jar of salsa earlier in the year that I must say was unbearable by itself.. the heat was painful.. was as if i had eaten about 2-3 habanero whole.. great flavor.. but had to be mixed with some of our own salsa to tone it down

 

spent hours looking into different headphones, trying to find the perfect pair, finally settled on the Audio Technica ATH-M50's... just to find out they don't even sell them in Canada, god damn muuufuckerz. Back to stage 1

in other news,, I wrecked my car tonight.. some jackass parked really close to me,, so I took his plastic shit off his bumper with my side panel.his plastic shit against my steel beast.. fuck him.. the asshole. ill buff it out. hes getting a bill..
