    So we had a small earthquake last night. Apparently it was mangitude 4.5.
    It was weird, though. Usually it's just a matter of the house shaking quietly but this time it was really loud. It sounded like there was a helicopter landing outside the door or something.

    never personally encountered an earthquake here in the upper midwest

    im used to the earth shaking because of the mine blasting...sometimes i can even hear them drilling at night even though its like a mile deep

    We felt the earthquake from Virginia up here last summer...felt like my neighbor's washer going nuts downstairs.

    I can't explain it, but I feel my house shake quite often. I blame the freeloading spirits living here :rolleyes:

    The biggest earthquake i ever felt was in Tennessee the ones in California are little compared to that one a few years back

    lots of bedrock here,, im about 1/8mile from the train.. but a heavy coal train makes the tv antenna rattle..
