I saw 2001 in a theater in about 1972 or 3....I didn't understand it then and ive never attempted to watch it since.....never once....I know more about because of conversation and pop references than from watching it

2001 is psychedelic musical and to much spacey bullshit to have the story have any sense. You must jump thru scenes to understand the concept without getting bored. bowman and poole are sent outside the Discovery craft once life is discovered on Europa .. a moon of Jupiter. The computer is never told of the mission to life discovery, its a secret to mankind and not only Hal. bowman is sucked up by the alien entity monolith and everlasting life he becomes. Hal goes to sleep. In 2010 mission is to wake Hal and gather data. usa and russia are at war blah blah... Alien life turns Jupiter into a star..

 

I want a monolith for my backyard... TeaParty guy would flip out.

My Triplets were on ESPN and Fox Sports South while they were at the Braves game!

I'm still trying to figure out how to show y'all.

 

I saw myself at the football once. Well not really but I did notice 5 of us were all wearing white shirts so when I watched it in tv I looked for that sport and saw a line of white shirts and there I was in there. Couldn't see myself in any quality but I was there in that white shirt.

 

Two announcers talked about the triplets while they were being shot close up with the camera. It was neat. I can't get the file. It'll be on replays of the game though.

 

I was on a big screen once for a few seconds at nitro circus.

 

I climbed on top of the big screen at skydome in Toronto a bunch of times.....see the alcove above the row of rooms on top of it?......we would put lasers there for rock shows....

Next weekend I'm biking from Burlington to niagara falls and back. About 200km over 3 days, hopefully the weather cooperates.

 

That's cool! My friends and I used to get on tv a lot at the lacrosse games becauae we were really into it and sat near the front. We would get my mom to record it come home after the game and rewatch the whole thing, looking for ourselves.

 

some family members of mine have been on tv quite a few times...mostly because another family member is in a position to choose what gets aired lol
