I can barely remember how it goes! There were 8 in the bed ... ?? ... and the little one said roll over, roll over ... so they all rolled over and one fell out, there were 7 in the bed

 

there were 8 little grouches lying all in bed and the little one said "ROLL O-VER!" so they all rolled over when they heard him shout and the grouch on the outside.... fell out.

 

I thought I'd drop in after work to speak.

Aeri, I'm so sorry about everything...your hubby's accident, Baby Kitty, just everything. Even though you are very strong, I know you are surrounded by such a wonderful group of supportive family that I'm sure that has to make things at least easier to handle...note I didn't say it makes things easy.

I'm fairly convinced that nothing but LOTS OF MONEY makes things fairly easy on this side of the great divide, and there are just oodles of people that would argue with me on that. Well, LOTS OF MONEY and having good health would surely go a long LONG way to making me a constantly thrilled person.

Firecrackers take up the slack for both the lack of the oodles of money and old-broken-bones pain. So, dagnabbit I say a great big yay for firecrackers.

Insurance is a fucking racket and I'm convinced the vast majority of people that work in insurance are at least half to 2/3's brain dead.

 

Or one third. Oh misread to to be of.

 

it was my birthday today.

 

Both the insurance people at the headquarters in whatever state and the roofer I FIRED last night ( ) thought it would just be okay for Mama to be taken for an expensive ride...just cut a check and voila! everything would just work out...

NOT.

As I was in the midst of firing this jackass, he actually admitted he "added in her deductible of $1000 when I made out that bill."
WTF?!? Well, I wouldn't say he "admitted" it...but it was more like he was spouting off at me and wound up telling me that when I told him that $2300 was mighty expensive for the 3 to MAYBE 4 hours work he did. He mentioned about knowing about her deductible, "fixing" the bill to show that, and expecting $1200. again...wtf with this man.

I told him he'd get his money when he got his money...and it wouldn't be 6 months like he mentioned (for some unknown reason). In fact, I advised him "If you think you are going to have a problem with us or getting your money, then what you should do is take my 94 yr old mother AND me to court and see how that works out for ya." He didn't seem interested in that...

A bill is supposed to be for services rendered...not including a deductible or anything but the service performed. At any rate, the idiot insurance woman at the headquarters thought his bill was "reasonable" (even including the extra $1000 which her stupid ass did not know was extra) AND he had NOT completed the work. She even contacted this jackass to tell him that "well, come to find out the work you began isn't finished at that house...so, if you'd just go estimate and finish the work, that would be good".

By the time I learned that the con-artist roofer had been told ALL of this by a woman in another state that had NOT talked to me nor my mother, I'd already secured the services of another roofer the day before.

Also, Mama saw the man wondering in the yard yesterday afternoon and was able to understand just enough for me to determine that he had talked to this brain-dead idiot woman I'd already talked to once and Really Disliked. I really about became unhinged about all this, and was primed and ready for a heart-to-heart discussion with this con-artist.

Lets say he understood beyond the shadow of a doubt that we will not be using his services. lol
