The politics subforum here is so frustrating... it seems that most of the people arguing don't even know what the words they are using actually mean.

 

supposed to be 71* today. ill open the windows and air this place out. everyone is at a different stage of sickness.
hubby gets defensive when we talk about money, he makes it, but i know how to use it. he wants to spend on entertainment, i want to save, or spend on garden stuff. i HATE going into the negative. i dont buy shoes, hell, i dont even buy craft stuff, i just use what i have. he works too hard, but we cant just swap roles, there has to be a transition.

so, more cleaning today. if i can get caught up maybe i can find work. he cant find shit without me, so it has to be clean before im not here to clean it.

 

I need to go to the second hand store soon and hope that I can find a jacket for spring. The one I'm wearing now is too big for me, and is all stretched out and misshapen from years of wearing a hoodie underneath it.

It was so warm in the sun yesterday that I stood out back in a tshirt and shorts and smoked a joint... made me really excited for the consistently warm weather that is around the corner.

 

aerianne....you people stil have to pick up xrays?......they stopped doing that here years ago

all my xrays get electronically transferred to my family doctor or anywhere I choose...

here let me spew false talking points and willful lies at a person who knows the truth, and expect them to wither. oh, whoops, she did not follow my plan, and now i look like the idiot i am. drat.

boy is home sick from school. low fever, coughing. not a whooping cough. not barky like a seal. its a rough sounding cough though. trying to figure out hop to change PCP on health insurance, old doctor moved. and of course the office id like to go to doesnt open until 8.

i wish we could just take our butts to the closest doctor, pay a $10 copay (majority of cost covered by taxes) and not have to jump through thirty flaming hoops to get care.
preventing sickness would save the system money, and they could give bonuses to the doctors. last year we paid more than $7,000 toward insurance. hubby went to the doctor ONCE. and didnt get any answers. F-U-C-K that. its so stupid. i would have a better return by putting that money in an envelope labeled "health insurance"
there are so many people in this country, it would cost how much per check, or per month to cover everyone? cant be that much. and when you figure in how many people dont want to go to the doctor, or who are healthy and dont need it (at the moment) you would have more than enough. hell, we are paying more than $50 per person in our family every 2 weeks. watch me set my money on fire!
