I've watched almost an entire season of Under the Gunn today. (which is project runway without Heidi)

 

I put these together this afternoon =]

That's my new dining area yeah hehe but I doubt I'll ever really use it to eat on. And my case now has alcohol all over it which.. Makes it look tacky tbh. I wanted unopened bottles only buuuut like I have unopened alcohol bottles >.> well I do, but they're collector rum editions. They look really nice in there.

I am both inspired and horrified by that.

I quite enjoy putting furniture together. I almost miss that job.

 

When it's your furniture it's fun.
The only problem I found was that my floorboards are a bit warped I guess so in different spots in the room one leg was slightly shorter than the other and the legs changed depending in location. But I fixed this by putting carpet squares on the feet to protect the wood floor and it stopped the chairs from wobbles.

when i showed hubby that dog video he didnt even notice it only had 2 legs. i think hes kinda cute. of course, im a weirdo, so that may skew my opinion, i always prefer the weird and quirky. my house is quirky, in face thats the first thing i said when i saw the listing.

im having trouble breaking down my pallets. im trying to pry the boards apart, small prybars and a hammer. i might have to figure out something else to do with them, leaving them whole.

 

Just jump in the centre and snap them then they pull off easy.

 

Aw man. John Pinette died yesterday.
Now I'm really kicking my ass I couldn't afford to go see him last year in Windsor.
He was a funny dude.

I'd link to some of his stuff, for those that don't know him - but it seems youtube is doing something odd to all his videos.

That's why I barely go to buffets I would rather just order straight from menu usually ends up less money
