I just received a job from the airport to Goulburn. That's at least a two hour round trip doing the speed limit. I'll be under the speed limit and have 3.5hrs of work remaining. Scheduled pick up time is 1:45. Totally going to make a road trip out of this, turn my palm off and bang my head to some tunes.

 

this why I buy my copper pipe during a thunder storm.. haha makes me laugh now I remember all those people moving out my way..

 

dammit I cant watch the video.. ,, ill try my phone.

 

I'm home from a 9 1/2 hour work day/night...and that was with a break. goodnightalive They are going to wear me out, one day at a time.

I'm off tomorrow and Wednesday. I'll need it to recover from today. lol

I've never really researched (been obsessed with) him like I have been with Janis Joplin.

I have to get up in 6 hours to go the gym, yet here I am messing around on the internet and texting hotties.

 

That (bolded) Burkett Lightning array is very interesting, and something I've never even heard of.

Of course my dumbass has heard of a lightning rod, but not all that...that sounds super cool.

Since this house is in the middle of a relative oak grove (with a few other types of trees scattered in), that sounds very good to have!

There have been times I've felt like there has been nothing but The Force of Good that has kept everything intact here.

There has been discussion that my mother is close to a force of nature, so that probably helps everything stay standing.

 

Sounds like fun....Quiet here. Just put dogs all upstairs where Stan has been sleeping for a few hours already. He was exhausted, as I am .... It was a hard day.....highs and mainly lows.........and nothing but the quietness of the night and occassional jumping up on something by one of the cats now.....
I guess things have sunk in with me tonight and I feel very sad.....no time before to just stop and mourn a lady I have known for 13 years until now.....
not to sadden anyone else.....by any means.....
The gammit of human emotions and feelings is quite a lot and intense sometimes....

According to my brother-in-law, this is surely the only place where I'm supposed to talk.

 

I have been talking about Lillian here ever since she broke her ankle in the first place a month ago. I think it only fair to show you her, and how lovely she was. This was at her 96th birthday party at a restaurant last August. She ate like a horse that night. I never saw anyone eat so much.....lol

It was a buffet, so it was eat all you wanted, and there was no end with her eating.....I am not making fun of her. I miss how funny she was and how she could laugh at herself. I said something like did you get enough yet. You should have by now.......and she laughed.....

 

Oh My!!! How wonderful it must have been to have known such a great, fine lady!

She did NOT look her age...what a beautiful lady she was, and apparently one with a great sense of humor. :2thumbsup:

 

Yes, it was! She always made up even if she was just in the house of hers with jewelry on.....always looked pretty.....she was certainly a character.....and was so funny naturally without trying too hard to be...You felt good around her...everyone did.......I will miss her very much....I am lucky to have known her....

She gets buried tomorrow ...so I better go get some sleep now....and thanks for being here for me to talk to tonight....

There is a new "Pink Floyd" album coming in October. I know it's not the real band entirely but if they tour I NEED tickets. It's as close as I can come.

I feel very dated (read that as old) as I think about hearing and liking Pink Floyd, in their original state, when they started. lol

At least I know (at least from here) I even had good taste back then.

Pink Floyd is okay. I like their songs. I don't agree with anything they preach though. =p

In a totally unrelated vein, I think my short-term memory is shot to shit...and the beauty of that is...I don't care. :sunny:

I told the manager tonight (quietly) I was old enough that my brain had about all it could handle and I was afraid that if I kept filling up the little bit of space that is left with McD's crap, my brain might quit working. She actually laughed...but I'm sorta serious.

Dark Side of the Moon (music) had me hooked; but I'm sure I didn't have sense (there's that word again...sense ) to really listen to the lyrics, other than to sing along.
