Got some trim mowing done but nowhere near what I had planned... and no weedeater work done and no house cleaning. Family coming tomorrow and nowhere near ready like I wanted to be. Was running speaker wires for a better stereo in the greatroom this afternoon... took way longer than it should have. You wouldn't think a "simple task" such as running a pair of wires around one side of the room could turn into such a major pain in the ass. I guess with the latest health issues I should expect every fucking thing to be a pain in the ass. literally.


Speaking of... I don't have an ass anymore. Down to 119 pounds, I got a scale this morning. I also donated my wooden chairs to Habatat/ReStore... Can't sit on them at all. Fuck all... They noticed the weight loss and are quite concerned... Nice folk down there.


Anyways, stereo sounds okay, needs some tweaking but that's for another day. The amp is 100 watts per channel but just an MCS 5000 series... Speakers are a nice pair of 3-way Technics SB-2845. 12 inch woofers in those and the room is big enough to use them. Wish I still had my Sanyo...

plus today he had to pay for the tow and diagnosis ..i was pretty sure it was dead last night though from his daughters description of what happened...so he wasnt all that surprised when it was exactly what i suspected

i didnt charge him as much as a regular person because this guy helps me a lot with other jobs

They call those zero clearance engines or something like that, when timing belt slips valves nail the pistons. Not all are that way but a lot of Jap motors are.

and this one hits hard...some will just bend a valve but this one knocks the heads right off and bounces them around until they embed into the aluminum or knock an escape route through the piston

everyone loved the dog....only scratched one kid all day so that was good...the kid didn't mind...



held a baby cousin for a bit...that grew old quick haha

I tried the dryer sheets before.. 2 in my waistband one stuck down in each sock and it merely alerted the mosquitoes as to where I was! lol

I don't know exactly why, but something about putting vinegar on me (on all flesh that the damned mosquitoes could get to) makes me more than willing to just go hunt and buy some repellent with DEET in it.

I know DEET isn't supposed to be in anything anymore, but if you look hard enough (around here) you can find it. The South has its own laws.

 

Nice being in the deli. busy work and customer service. no bullshit yet. and now my managers finally realize I was their best in my old department. I even get to leave like, five minutes early.

I'm very tired and I'm excited to go swimming tomorrow.. even if that tires me out too.
