You could fall asleep real quickly doing security where I was working. Every morning at 4am we'd shut the pub doors and then I had to sit there staring at cameras for 3 hours. Guards would go to sleep. I chose to read books. Learned more shirt in those 3 hours for 3 years than I ever did when I was at school. If I only had the drive to learn when at school, shit I could have done something better. Everything I researched or read though I pointless for a job like history and shit.

I miss being high. Maybe I'll do that tolerance break next week. Lol.

My girl just dragged out the pup screaming and kicking and whining. Haha. Good.
Because I started to feel like I was the big angry bully doing all the discipline and told her many times she has to start ignoring this "cute" thing when he acts up. Yeah it's cute, but biting should be discouraged because I can see him growing up into a bit of a fireball so I need have the biting stopped. He's awesome with me. I point a finger at him, NO!, he backs away very nicely but with her, well he has her trained.

 

Stupid asshole in this country leaves his 22 month old son in a vehicle for 7 hours when it is over 90 degrees and precious child dies....while the asshole is sexting 6 females including a 17 year old...On news here all day....He was denied bail and may face death penality, and the mother was just sitting there in court today chewing gum......Talk about messed up, fucked up world.

They had taken life insurance out on the child.....beforehand.

 

my dog was acting crazy earlier, walking up the steps and get 1/2 way up and turn around go back down and then walk back up, and do this over and over. I said stop that your gonna have a <3 attack ..

I sadly thought about all of the dogs people leave in hot cars for hours that die, that we don't hear about every day....and they say about 40 children in this country die every year this way, but many are not prosecuted, as their absentmindedness and distraction excuses seem to hold water.....

 

Do you break a window if the dog looks happy and not showing any signs of heat stress?

No....but if I saw a dog looking like it was suffering....I would sound out the alarms to someone......immediately.....I see many dogs left in cars at supermarkets and things.......on sweltering days.......

Yeah, I saw that on the news during this week. On the news here, they said he was actually driving home and "realized suddenly" (yeah, right) that the child was in the car, pulled over and tried to do cpr...or some such bs. Then the news person said he "seemed genuinely upset" when he couldn't get a response from the child.

goodgodalmighty. what a sorry good for nothing jackass...I think it would be literally impossible to "forget" your 22 month old was in your car while you were at work!!! Well, again, here they said he was at work. I don't give a damn what he was doing...the whole thing is inexcusable

Holy shit...If one of my animals dies...I am a mess for weeks and months....this is someone's only child....that died two weeks ago......and she is sitting there like some nincompoop chewing gum looking like she had not a care in the world. I would have to be hospitalized if I had a baby that died like that. REALLY!!!!!!!????????

seriously...the only way I would be capable of sitting up and being in public was if I was drugged out of my mind, and then I wouldn't be able to sit up, but I could lay down and people could look at me or something.

There are some true sociopaths in this world and I would bet many of them have children that never reach maturity.

I would approve of cruel and unusual punishment for people like the dude (and his gum-smacking wife) that Moon, BBAD and I have discussed...

My suggestion: First waterboard them. Then put them in a room chock full of shadflies, mosquitoes, and fleas. Let them stay there until (ALL) blood and/or skin is gone.

Quick death (execution) would be too kind...

 

Lack of torture is one of the main reasons the usa has such a high crime rate....there are several other reasons but coddling criminals is the one i get annoyed by most easily.

OK, now I'm going to tell a funny story...

My 94 yr old mother decided on Monday that she needed to poke something (not sure what - a stick, knife or similar) down the drain on the left (rinsing) side of the kitchen sink. She was persistent and diligent in this project and poked until she poked a HOLE IN THE DRAINAGE PIPE. Keep in mind I was not aware of anything she was doing in there.

I walk to the door that leads to the kitchen, and there was water from the sink to the door - at 10 - 12 feet, and the water was thick...like about a gallon of water on the floor. I said WTH is happening here?!?

She said she didn't know where it was coming from; but, we got it up and she was acting a little funny...not wanting me to help, wanting to do it all herself. (Mama wanting to do something like that herself is TOTALLY out of character.)

She got a guy to come out late that day and found the HOLE she made (poking) in the pipe. She immediately said she knew she did it.

I still have no earthly what she really poked down there, and better yet why she felt the need to do this.

The dude did tape up the poked side of the pipe and said he'd call before he came back with some pvc pipe (an elbow joint) to replace the metal one. He still hasn't called. That isn't funny; but, the rest of it is.

We aren't letting any water go down that left side. The right side is fine.

Mama's fingers won't even completely stretch out and they are often numb on both hands; but her will and persistence is amazing when she sets her mind to a project. lol
