My missus just got a phone call about a job and they literally told her, you scored the best in the assessment, you had the best interview, you were the best person for the job but... We went with someone else because we think you might get bored and we don't want to hinder your progression and career.

Right, well, it's a bit hard to progress a career when you don't have a fucking job. Fucking assholes.

 

She's not having my luck, is she? Well at least she should be confident that she presents herself quite well during her interviews? Not that it matters, evidently. Just think that she's obviously worth more money. =p

 

It's just disheartening. I was complaining about over qualifications the other day.
If we weren't in a sort of recession where thousands are losing their jobs left, right and centre I wouldn't worry because she's a smart girl and never had a problem getting a job. But at the moment there's just so much competition, I am proud she's still getting through for interviews etc. but do you undersell or oversell yourself now? It's retarded.

I've been having the strangest dreams lately myself. Not truly nightmare material; but not good either.

Very specific, vivid crap with odd, confrontrational situations.

I want sleep to be my friend, and dreamless nights to come more often!

I also want to win the lottery, let us not forget.

mustards and different type of spicy sauces .. nothing special here tho.

 

Paparika...i think thats the only time i ever used it but its good in there.

 

When I've made egg salad and wanted just a little kick, I sprinkled paprika on top of it...like you do with deviled eggs.

I always use mayo and mustard, and if I'm the only one eating it, I may add some sweet onions. + paprika for a little spicey/tasty action.

Fell asleep at work and had a dream that a machine broke and was making a mess. I jumped out of my chair when i woke up

Somehow i dont think you would like my job bbad. There are long stretches of no work or extremely easy work...but it also has some stretches of some really shitty and miserable work. Yesterday the bin got jammed up had to stand at the top of the room and poke it out with a 10 foot pole. If i had to guess its about 120*f up there. Have to come down every 20 minutes or so just because the sweat is burning my eyes.
