i wouldnt use quote trips as signs of competence

its a real pain in the ass to run around giving estimates ...you can give 100 estimates and only get 4 or 5 of those people to actually get the work done...most are window shopping and will never even hire anyone


a smart person asks for addresses of previous jobs and goes to check them out...maybe even knock on the door and talk to the people

 

paid my visa bill 4 days late last month, it was due the day my sister got married and I completely forgot. I was charged $40 in interest, but I just called and asked them to reverse it since it was clearly a one-time mistake. She agreed, and reversed it immediately.

I wonder how many people would have not called and just paid the charge?

 

no tomatoes, but i found some strawberries. also bought some pickled asparagus.

 

When I was driving Grace to the park for our morning walk we passed a gas station that listed all it's gas at $9.99 (9) per gal. I wonder if they got hit by lightning overnight.

bad mood...the heat.....some minor problems...my brother being overly helpful

 

I survived the family reunion!

It actually went really well and everyone seemed to really enjoy it. Food was good and it was really hot so the pool got used. I had 6 campers stay over for a few days longer and one cousin stayed with me.

I think we will try to do this yearly.

Thanks again Mr R for the offer of the tickets, wish I could have gone as it would have been great. Hope your family get together goes great this weekend!

went to the nudie beach for the first time yesterday. I had a great time! it was very relaxing and the people were very nice, let me share their bottle opener! can't believe I didn't get burned.

I'm also really close to finding a place for my grandma to live. she's moving back from Michigan and refuses to stay with us, so I'm desperate a place will save a room for her. I think I found the place today. lucky lucky...

I start working in the deli tomorrow. I'll hopefully get full time for a change, but the deli is a yucky place. Oh well. Gotta change things up
