I worked in the yard again today. I feel like teeny ticks might be crawling on me. It's shower time.

I shook a tree one time and got many many many scale bugs trapped in my very thick long hair. It was kinda disturbing.

Tell me what a scale bug is and I'll check when I come back.

When you look at a branch it's hard to see them. They hide by covering themselves in a shield (scale) of excrement and spit and merge sort of with the branch. While in this cocoon they suck the sugars and sap out of the tree.

Ironically I was studying a particular tree that my professor was telling us was particularly susceptible to scale bugs. I grabbed a branch to look, and when I let the branch go it swung back wildly shaking off all the scale bugs onto my head below...

I have a fireplace behind my livingroom wall. I really want to take the wall down but i dont have the money to put up a new wall plus i would have to fix all the corners of where the current walls are.

Haha.. If only they were that cute... There's something inherently wrong about a thing that shits all over itself... Cute or not.
