the problem[kids] with the teaching profession is that the class sizes are too big now...special needs kids being tossed into regular classes.....violence against teachers is rampant.....parents not doing there part at home...its got to be brutal to be a teacher anywhere but a private school

i don't like most of his stuff, but the dark tower series was pretty good!

Ya started reading him at a young age, the 1st book I read of his was pet cemetery at a young age.

I remember doing IT for a grade 5 book report and the teacher ddn't believe I read it so called my parents lol.

I've tried reading Terry Prattchett and I think it was a Terry Brooks..... the Sword of Sharara or something. Again my dad's book couldn't get into it.

 

It's better to read the books, you're still missing a lot of detail. Also, some things were more subtile (not the sex scenes by the way).

Extremely lame Of course exactly one of the few I got as a present. It's still in my bookcase unfortunately. Yeah, a lot of fantasy is too crappy or cliché. I don't mind if it's another elves, dwarfs and humans setting but it must be written well and has a good story then
