photo on bing gives me the creeps today...it is some face of a goat or ram with big curved antlers....now, I love all animals, but that photo is scary...and no wonder they fashioned the devil illustrations of that animal at times.

When my dog comes inside he sits on a lounge and proceeds to stare at me for hours on end like I'm no real enjoyment, why am I even inside?

Interesting I was just looking up an old acquaintance in Puerto Rico as just out of the blue he crossed my mind. The owner of a company called Suarez Toy House where I got my first job at 16 demonstrating and teaching spin top tricks. The company put me up in the Borinquen hotel in San Juan and the job involved many air flights across the island in small planes and I remember being very excited to fly over and see the arecibo radio telescope.

I found out he sold the company in the nineties.

I almost forgot about the telescope that isnt to far aways from the caves. in fact is basically the same features that make the caves. however we didnt get to see the scope , friend said it was boring. hes lived there much his life. but in the caves he kept saying mira mira mira ; look look look., as if it was the first time seeing so many things.. shame it was before the smart phone days.

Kevin Peter Hall the 7foot actor to play the Predator lived down the street from my friend in Penn Hills.. we knew him growing up as the "tall dude"...

another interesting thing is Hall died on April 10th.. now my friend and I are a year apart and our birthdays are a day off, Johns is April 10th 1969, and mine is the 9th 70.. Hall died the same day as his birthday.. I believe if I can remember johns homicide was also in 91. http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1144&dat=19911210&id=fu0dAAAAIBAJ&sjid=-2MEAAAAIBAJ&pg=5115,259195 ya, I was correct..

my friend John is an axe murderer doing life in Graterford SCI ..http://www.cor.pa.gov/Facilities/StatePrisons/PublishingImages/Graterford%20aerial.JPG his house is 4th to the right and way in the back. however hes just living there because he wants to, not because he has to.. that asshole allowed his appeals to expire, and tho he was allowed to appeal anyway because it was administrative interference , he chose not too..

I sure do hope that eating the green helps some, Ori. :)

The furnace guy was here at the same time I was getting ready to go to work...the picture SpacemanBBAD showed on the previous page with the little red button that should be pushed in case the furnace had set itself to safety...well, that was what needed to be done...pushing the button.

(I wonder how much his bill will be for coming out here and pushing the button and telling me about it. :yikes: is what I think.)

The man told me about pushing the button, if something like this happens again. He also told me if after I pushed it in, it were to come back out...to leave then and call somebody (him).

So, we have heat and everything...all faucets now dripping.

Specs, I'm glad you and Ty got your dad home to a warm place.

Where y'all live, a freezing long cold winter is expected and no doubt everyone there is Much more prepared to deal with this type of weather than us wussies down south. I'm saying all that to get to this: I bet where your dad lives has a super heating system that has a 99.99% chance of not going out. :)

I have a bad habit of making extensive use of used harddrives from junked computers.

That would be fine, but I also have a bad habit of not backing things up.

I lost everything a while ago, and have gotten tired of not having my shit and having it sit in limbo on these bad drives, as they sit around and wait for the heads to stick. I'm going on a recovery rampage, and will, in the future, keep good backups.

I got my overtly bad drive with the click of death (it would chunk, but not in a totally braindead way - eventually I got it recognized, and didn't stop from there - I think it's actually some sort of armiture bearing or control system problem, because the head was loud as fuck even when it was able to read), to copy almost everything off, with only a few unimportant files lost, and now I'm working on one where I accidentally installed windows over all my music and PDF books and manuals and shit like that - I gave up trying to recover partitions, and figured out how to use my program to hunt down files.

It seems like I lost very little, probably nothing I'd even notice - but for fucks sake, apparently the names are part of the superblocks or whatever (yes, my understanding of filesystems is fuzzy). I'm going to have like 50,000+ files to organize and name.

I'm really hoping that all the media has it's meta info in tact, so I can just ignore the filenames and play in my jukebox program, as normal.
