I've found a buyer for my book collection.Hopefully Thursday hopefully.I probably won't get tons of cash but it's a large interesting collection.We'll have to see.I just can't wait to get rid of them.It will be so cathartic.All those overly adored dragon's treasure gone.Oh the relief I will feel.To be free of all that supposed knowledge and self-admiration gone.I've decided to virtually give up on reading books because I've come to the conclusion that I tried to gain too much knowledge and I think this is a way of continuing to cure my oftentimes megalomania.My books became a representation of my self-identity and I just want all that baggage gone.I'll be keeping guitar books and I have enough of those for a lifetime's study.Man these hundred of books just have to go.So now it's all about simplifying my possessions to just my music gear,essential documents and decent clothing.

I am not someone who runs to the doctor every time I get a sniffle, cut, or whatever. There are times I should have gone to the doctor sooner because I would have healed better and faster if I had not waited until it was about time to get hospitalized.

I NEVER hesitate when I've broken a bone! geez...I cannot comprehend people breaking a bone and not going to the hospital immediately.

all that being said...Pens, you've let us know you have medical insurance. You've also let us know you have recently come into some 401 money - what was it 54K or thereabouts?

So, I REALLY FAIL to comprehend why in the hell you haven't gone and gotten a lymph node that has swollen from being scratched looked at! :dizzy2:

Now you speak of "flesh eating disease"...that 50+K isn't going to do you any good on the other side.

Well, if I remember correctly, the 1st girl that got the flesh eating disease and from there the nation was made aware of it did live...after she lost her hands and legs.

 

The lymph node has already begun getting smaller.
I am not going to a doctor for a cut. It isnt eating my skin it is just very slow healing i think because my clothes rubbing against it. The bandaids dont stick well. I think I was using to much neosporin and then with the hair there the bandage was falling off. Easy fix. Shave and less ointment.

 

put some honey on it. Imo neosporen is for your pet fish that have ick. everytime I used it my wounds got worse.

today is gonna be one of those super busy "i dont wanna" days.

come on coffee. i needs you. i have a list a mile long to accomplish. and calling doctors is on it, ugh.
set up an appointment yesterday with new doc, but i need to have my records transferred over. its my body. i employ the doctors. but i also trust them and am not looking to burn bridges. distance is a huge factor, thats what i am planning on using as my primary reason for switching providers. a 5 minute drive in labor is much more feasible than a 30-45 minute drive in labor, traffic depending.
but i hate making phone calls too. blerg. ankle hurts, but a little less today. have bills to organize, laundry to do. supposed to be nice so air out the house once the sun gets up. i just want to go back to bed.

did not end up calling docs today. wimped out i guess. but i did do yardwork, cut down some trees. my 8 year old is making me a ham and turkey sandwich right now

still planning on doing the other stuff i need to do, i will see if im ready to call docs tomorrow. will go to bed early tonight, so maybe i wont need to nap so early tomorrow.

 

Got my Mark Knopfler tickets. pretty happy about that. seating eh cant expect miracles for the price I was willing to spend.. sorry love the MK but im not paying 150.00 for a front row seat. next best thing "In The Gallery" seating area $75ea.

on the plumbing front... wtf, I got it all together only to get another pin hole. old pipe is going to be scrap. pin holes can happen in a brand new piece of pipe, but dont make me feel any better.. least this pin hole isnt pissing a foot stream .. dabbed some gorilla glue on it. wrapped some tissue paper around it to monitor it.. just for now. I dont feel like putting in a 12ft piece just yet. maybe convert to pex tubing..

Yes, the docs told me to wash it a couple of times a day with plain water and Ivory soap, then to put a very thin layer of Neosporin.
