Why should it be different from the riots we have been watching for the last couple of years? Of COURSE the mayor told the cops to turn their backs, he wanted something horrible to happen since it wins sympathy points as it did in Baltimore, Ferguson and Oakland.

While I don't care for David Duke, Richard Spencer or anyone else who identifies as a Nazi, klansman or white supremacist, setting them up to be attacked by the mask-wearing creeps of the alt-left will ultimately prove to be stupid. The Duke's and Spencer's have been spewing this shit for decades without this kind of attention. Now they have it. They have a national platform that has the left even calling the president a de facto klansman (preposterous, but oh well).

It would have been better to let them have their little show for the cameras and then let them go home. Instead, the tools of the left have invited reprisals. That car incident was a knee jerk reaction from a seriously disturbed asshole. Imagine what will happen when the retribution is planned. We've seen this before and a LOT of innocent people will get dragged into it. I dread the news ahead.

 

So your personal bias is your measure of accuracy on this issue? "it never happens to me, so it surely never happened"? Really?

To be fair there are other people in this thread who haven't had this experience either

And I DO know other white people and I know their experiences. I just dont know anyone who has had this experience.

 

Where did you go to school? Never experienced anything like this or heard from anyone else that had this happen.

 

It's ok Dick. These people are fixated on the belief that you can't be racist unless you're white. Therefore they wouldn't know what anti white racism was if it tied them up and tortured them on Facebook live stream.

 

I started imagining all this hatred for white people when I lived in California. My uncle had a delivery route that I worked with him in the summer through Oakland and Richmond. It was weird how many imaginary black people gave us shit and proudly proclaimed it was because we were white. Granted, we were delivering liquor, so maybe it was just a silly firewater thing. Who can say?

When I moved to "the deep south" I had the worst expectations, mostly of klanish white people. I dreaded bumping into them and not knowing any of the hand signals or greetings since it would expose me faster than my obvious lack of accent. So far I have not encountered a single klansman, and it's been over a decade here. Oh sure, I have met plenty of dumbasses who think I'm a "yankee" because my English is so good.

What's really interesting to me though is the way some folks here are so quick to refuse my experiences out of hand, as if it's all in my imagination since it doesn't dovetail into the teachings they have come to know as "reality". I can only wonder what sort of "privileged" lives they lead to have avoided the sewers I have encountered (like public schools).

Regardless, I play the game lest I be lured into the sort of trap they snared George with. Such a shame really.

I got called racist and a bunch of slurs for essentially being white the first time like a month ago. I was minding my own sitting by an African-American woman and she was already talking aloud to herself but then for whatever reason started going off on me.

I realize it's an isolated incident but the hatred she projected towards me was certainly eye opening.

 

Again, this MUST be a figment of my imagination. After all, EVERYBODY just LOVES white people, especially in the US!

 

It was your imagination, trust me on this. She was really expressing her love for you and your benevolent race. And don't forget, it's impossible for her to be a racist, since that is the sole domain of white people.

 

I'm not denying incidents of racism against whites like shaman suggested (which isnt even what dick is claiming man, keep up) or that some people do like to unfairly throw the "you're racist" card around

It just seems like Dick is claiming, and maybe I'm misunderstanding, that this is something that happens to all or at least most white males from the time they're in grade school, that everyone they come into contact with automatically assumes they're racist and calls them the oppressors as he said.

I am most definitely doubting it is widespread and common though, I just don't know any white males or white females who have experienced that and clearly there are other people in this thread who haven't experienced it either

Obviously delivering liquor in Oakland in..when, I have no idea how old you are...the 60s? Anyways obviously that would be a unique experience.

I live in the deep South too. And went to public schools, I'm not sure what that has to do with anything though. I dunno, I've always felt like whites and blacks were pretty cool with each other where I am

 

Definitely not my imagination, I usually get along fine with most people, regardless of color but I presume those who think non-white people cannot be racist must be living relatively secluded from them or bullshitting themselves.

I'm against infant mortality for any cause, and for any race. I'm not sure where your stats are coming from, but it would be unsurprising if blacks and hispanics had a higher infant mortality rate, since they also have a much higher birth rate.

There is both a higher rate of white mortality, and lower white birth rate.

This thread has really gotten off track, as so often happens. The OP was talking about the Neo-Nazis, KKK members and various jackasses that descended on Virginia a couple of days ago. I've also run into those who didn't seem to like me only because of my skin color; I just always assumed they're assholes that don't know class when they see it. I guess I should be like everyone else and go shouting 'racism'.

I've never (so far as I know) been denied a job, housing or an education because of my race. That would have gotten my attention.

I wanted to write more but I'm hungry and tired and I got lasagna and bed waiting for me, so that's it for now.

 

I'm not talking about decreased quality of life, I'm talking about race-based increase in mortality that has no historical precedent except for genocide.

I'm not talking about "being the victim of difficult economic circumstances", I am talking about intentional oppression due to race, though there appear to be ideological and gender components to the increased mortality.
