cold here too....sat guy already been here...I was rolling a joint ansd I look up and buddy is waving at me throught the window


now the phone gy is coming... got tired of my phone jacks barely clinging to the wires....this one at my desk comes straight up through the floor 2 feet from the wall corner....I guess he ran out of wires lol...its in the way of the legs of my desk and my couch...ive kicked it a dozen times.....

 

If anyone unplugs my kitchen phone it disables all the phones in the house....my kitchen phone is the main brain and the rest are droids.....lol

 

Morning all stoners. What do most people in USA actually do on thanksgiving day? I am still in bed. Going to take a look at putting in new head unit in car. In about 3 hours my family is expected to go over to the neighbors house to celebrate thanksgiving with their whole family, which is blowing my anxiety out of proportion. Ugh!

Might slip off to the side to smoke a bowl.

 

Seems like more places are going to be open this year and more places are serving thanksgiving dinner this year too...

 

well, usually in my family my dad cooks on wednesday and my mom cooks on thursday. since my dad doesnt want to participate my brother and his friend were supposed to pick up the slack, but he has to work part of the day. we will pull it together. normally its snacks all day, pretzels, crackers, cheeses, meats, artichoke spinach dip, cookies, chips... all sorts of snacks. for dinner usually 1-2 turkeys (this year its one 12 pounder) sometimes brined, sometimes not. we are roasting this year, but the last couple of years my dad has fried them (drool, so delicious) and one year he even smoked one. that was awesome too. my dad is such an awesome chef, i hope we dont fuck everything up this year. we usually have a lot of dishes that only a few of us eat. green bean casserole, peas and onions, sweet potatoes. we always have 2 stuffings- one bread, and the other spinach (oh man, im drooling over it already,) and mashed potatoes, of course. but the best thing on the table (to me) is the broccoli swiss mushroom quiche. best ever. and its the best microwave food too. nom nom nom.
im making a bread pudding (with no raisins, dad hates raisins) and the pumpkin savory rolls. usually a couple of pies, but not a lot for this year. we will make do

 

I ordered dr seuss one fish two fish book.....i'm doing an anti pollution kids shirt....something to the effect of

3 fish
2 fish
blue fish
no fish

and the 3rd fish will be upside down and the fourth fish will be a fish skeleton

on the bottom it will say something like

''give a hoot don't pollute''

or

''leave some fish for us kids''

 

my head is still a bit off... is it possible to still be stoned from edibles that I ate last night at like 8:30 or 9pm?

 

of course it is....plus you used coconut oil....body breaks that down slow than butter....i'm guessing that but it sounds plausible

 

i like the "give a hoot" but its not as appropriate in regards to fish. owls eat more small mammals and birds. now an eagle likes fish better, though they will eat what they can get. a stern eagle face that says "hey. i was going to eat that." or some other such phrase makes more sense.

"im a very sickly fish,
do you want me on your dish?"

if you go with a general animal catchphrase you can do different pollution/animal specific shirts using the same catchphrase. "animals live here too."

i forgot to add the rum to the custard. damnit. i sprinkled it on top, so im hoping that it will be alright. it wont be a spread-out flavor though.

I havent had to prepare anything today, smoked a bowl and a cig about 30 mins ago, brokedown and ate some chips, about to jump in the shower in a bit. also realigned my wiper blades on the car and installed the new 6 disc cd changer

 

6 disc changer?....wouldn't an ipod be just as good...?

I have an iPod. Posting fom it now I fact. The car doesn't have an aux cable, and I managed to gets ford style head unit with all the temp controls and whatnot for only 25usd including shipping. I'm happy it works!

Considering getting myself and itrip or something similar to be able to play iPod through.

Just now finally getting in shower. Nervous about thanksgiving party at neighbors I might have a beer or two while there if they have any!

 

Just finished having breakfast with my parents after a three hour drive with two toddlers and three dogs in tow.

Now to pick up some good ol' koltiska Wyoming liquor, and travel another few hours to have dinner with family in Colorado.
