What happened to her? First photo is from 2014, the second is from nowadays. Am I the only one who thinks she was definitely better 5 years ago?
Nothing a little photoshop can't do in about five minutes. If you believe for one second even half the photos you see online are not retouched, you are a prime candidate for modeling school. The internet collects all the trash from the fashion industry, while nobody ever lost money underestimating the average intelligence of the American public. VR is the future, because everybody agrees reality TV sucks, you can't fake professional wrestling because its already fake, and nobody can screw you like a porn star, unless you are the president of the United States.
Neither of those look like Charlie XCX from what I recall, but yah I haven't heard about her for awhile. For pop music, I thought some of her stuff about 5 years ago was decent. Felt ahead of the curve in some ways, now it seems like most pop artists have elements of that sound.
Celebrities change their hair color and appearance every time they go to the bathroom. Either whatever they choose works for them or it doesn't, and their managers and tailors and beauticians and plastic surgeons help them decide. In her case, she's pretty in the first picture, but pretty women are a dime a dozen in Hollywood. Producers and others look for pretty women who can be made to look like something else. In particular, they want drop dead gorgeous women that can pass as boys or men, because men are a bigger draw than women. Models wearing extreme shoulder boards and militant outfits are imitating what sells, with Madonna and Lady Gaga turning it into a modern artform. In general, the closer you get to the equator, the more colorful both men and women become.
